Impulse Grenades are small grenades that can be thrown in any direction. They are a great tool for quickly propelling you away from the area you are currently in, or towards an area you would like to go. The Impulse Grenade also has a small blast radius which can be helpful in damaging any enemies around you.

Using Impulse Grenades to rotate in Fortnite is all about timing and precision. To use an Impulse Grenade, first, look down and press the aim button (L2 on PlayStation, LT on Xbox, and Right-Click on PC). Then, press the fire button  (R2 on PlayStation, RT on Xbox, and Left-Click on PC), followed by the jump button (X on PlayStation, A on Xbox, and Space on PC). If you are going forward, throw the grenade under you, while to go backward, throw it in front of you. Jumping will further increase the distance, but beware of the fall damage that can ensue.

Using Impulse Grenades can help you get to zones faster, or be used offensively or defensively. Throw the grenade close to your opponent to launch them in the air or onto houses or hills for a higher view. Combining them with other abilities can further increase their usefulness.
