There are four diverse species of friendly creatures that roam the exciting LEGO world of Fortnite, and they are the following:
- Chickens: these produce feathers and fertilizers, they can be found in the grasslands, the dry valley and the coasts.
- Cows: They offer milk and fertilizer and range throughout the grassland region, as well as certain areas of the Frostland biome.
- Sheep: They provide wool and fertilizer, we can find them exclusively in the green pastures.
- Pigs: They generate fungi and fertilizers, they are easily distinguished in the grasslands.
Starting our village in the grasslands is a wise decision, since this biome offers abundant opportunities to encounter the four friendly creatures. But, during exploration, we can see that pigs seem to have a lower spawning rate compared to other animals, making them harder to locate and sometimes requiring long trips.
How to tame animals in the world of LEGO Fortnite?
- As the Farm Friends update arrives, a new possibility arises and that is to tame animals to bring them to our humble village with the help of a new culinary product called Animal Treat.
- To begin this process, we must first locate a gentle creature and approach it unarmed, otherwise the creature will hastily retreat.
- Once we are close, we will press the interaction button (E), it will allow us to pet the animal and present it with the animal treat (using the same key).
- Upon receiving the treat, the creature will be adorned with a cluster of green hearts, a sign of successful taming, and will follow it faithfully for the next few minutes.
- Finally, accompanying the animal to town and assigning it a cozy place guarantees it a place in its new forever home.
However, caution should be taken to avoid any harm to the tamed creature during the journey; in case of hostile encounters, it is ideal to refeed the animal with treats, ensuring safe arrival at the destination.
