Recruiting Zelkov in Fire Emblem Engage is quite straightforward. You don’t have to do anything extra to add him to your party. He will join your cause naturally as the story progresses and more chapters unlock.


At Chapter 9, you will find Zelkov assisting Ivy in defending Elusian from both your party and the Brodian forces. You must battle and defeat Ivy to make it to the Castle where you will fight the Elusian king and the captive Brodian king.


In Chapter 11, when trying to escape the Castle, you will find Ivy accompanied by Zelkov. The latter will join your party from that point onwards. You can use him however you wish. Zelkov is initially a Thief and later on becomes a Wolf Knight, but if you have a Second Seal, you can choose to switch his Basic Class to something else. Nevertheless, we suggest leaving him as is due to his stats and specialization.
