How To Defeat Every Enemy Type in Guntouchables

By Ambar Jimenez | 2025-08-14 08:29:35
In the unforgiving world of Guntouchables, your doomsday preparation is put to the ultimate test against a relentless horde of Mutants. These creatures are not your typical zombies; they are body-devouring abominations that come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. Understanding these differences is crucial for survival, as every run will pit you against a different combination of these grotesque foes.

Guntouchables: Defeat Every Enemy Type

Mutants are separated into five categories based on their strength and behavior:
  • Growth Mutants: Stationary and tied to corrupted ground, they spawn other enemies.
  • Common Mutants: The weakest and most frequently encountered enemies.
  • Special Mutants: More powerful, with unique abilities like poison or high-damage attacks.
  • Elite Mutants: Extremely powerful creatures that can buff other mutants or are related to a boss.
  • Boss Mutants: The strongest mutants, fought in dedicated arenas with multiple phases and unique mechanics.
To help you keep everyone safe, we've compiled a detailed guide on how to handle every type of Mutant you'll encounter.

Special Mutants

Special Mutants are a significant step up in threat level due to their unique attacks and tactics.

  • Bile Crawler (40 HP): These Mutants are slow but dangerous up close with a short-range gasattack. The best strategy is to maintain a safe distance and use amedium or long-range weapon to take them down from afar.
  • Bile Dog (40 HP): These creatures will sprint directly at you, and if they get too close, they will explode. Focus all your fire on them as they charge. If onegets close, use your Dash ability to get out of its explosion range.
  • Bile Runner (50 HP): The Bile Runner is an evasive enemy that will use unpredictablemovements. Wait for it to stop to attack, then take it out with anyweapon. Be ready to use your Dash to avoid its potential explosion upon death.
  • Bile Spitter (60 HP): These Mutants are a frustrating foe, as they will run and dodge yourshots. The key is to be patient and wait for their brief pauses whenthey stop to spit a projectile at you. Alternatively, use a long-rangeweapon to eliminate them before they notice you. If they begin to run, chase them down, as they will eventually stop to attack again.
  • Mosquito (70 HP): Mosquitoes are agile and will stay at a distance, dodging shots andonly pausing to fire a single projectile. Long-range weapons are mosteffective against them. When they are defeated, they explode and release four projectiles in a diagonal pattern, so be sure to evade them.

Growth Mutants

Growth Mutants cannot directly harm you but are a constant threat because they spawn other enemies.

  • Corrupted Ground (N/A HP): This is a source of corruption and a spawning ground for other mutants. Standing on it will slow you down and inflict corruption damage overtime. The effect is removed as soon as you step off of it.
  • Incubator (150 HP): These stationary enemies spawn on corrupted ground and are ahigh-priority target. Focus them down as quickly as possible to stop the flow of new enemies, which are primarily Nymphs but can occasionally include more dangerous types like Bile Spitters.
  • Nest (400 HP): Nests are giant Incubators that only appear in specific missions. Theyare always surrounded by four to five Incubators. The most efficientstrategy is to ignore the surrounding Incubators and focus all yourdamage on the Nest itself. Once the Nest is destroyed, all Incubators in the immediate area are also destroyed.

Common Mutants

Common Mutants are the weakest and most numerous foes, but a swarm can still be deadly.

  • Nymph (15 HP): These are the second-weakest enemies in the game. Any weapon can takethem out easily due to their low health. The main danger with Nymphs isbeing swarmed by a large group, especially near an Incubator, so be sure to manage their numbers.

Elite Mutants

Elite Mutants are powerful and dangerous, often with unique abilities that can change the flow of a fight.

  • Floater (300 HP): Floaters are the fastest Mutants and avoid direct combat, insteadchoosing to buff other enemies. To kill a Floater, you must engage agroup of enemies to lure it in, then focus all your fire on it. A level three or higher Speed Buff Perk will help you keep up with them, but weapons with slowing effects like the Ice Pick or the Ice Bullets Milestone Mod are incredibly effective.

Boss Mutants

Boss Mutants are the ultimate challenge, fought in dedicated arenas and featuring unique mechanics.

  • Breeder (6,000 HP): Stay close to the Breeder but behind it as you attack, avoiding theexplosive eggs it continuously lays. Destroy the eggs as they appear tokeep the arena from becoming too crowded. Fire damage is highly effective against the Breeder, as it will continue to deal damage even when the boss is far away.
  • Brosquito (5,000 HP): Keep your distance to give yourself enough time to dodge its fastprojectiles. The Brosquito is incredibly fast, so a long-range weapon is ideal. Once it loses 25% of its health, it will pause to perform one of two attacks: a rotating series of projectiles or several circularvolleys. Use these moments to deal significant damage while maintaining a safe distance. Slowing effects from the Ice Pick or Ice Bullets are invaluable for controlling its speed.
  • Earthworm (7,000 HP): To defeat the Earthworm, circle it while attacking and avoid its acidprojectiles and the pools they leave behind. At every 25% healththreshold, it will burrow and spawn four Incubators in thecorners of the room. Your top priority should be to destroy theseIncubators to prevent them from spawning more enemies. Once all four are gone, the Earthworm will re-emerge, and you can repeat the processuntil it's defeated.
  • Momma Wartusk (4,000 HP): Allow theMomma Wartusk to chase you, shooting it as you move. Lure it intocharging at a wall to stun it, then continue your attack while dodgingthe rocks that fall after the impact. At 33% health, it will retreatinto caves, and you'll have to fight off several regular enemies, including Wartusks. Defeat them to bring the Momma Wartusk back out. Again, slowing effects from the Ice Pick and Ice Bullets are extremely effective for keeping your distance and staying out of her melee range.
