Fresh mint shards in
Grounded 2 are essential for crafting, consuming, and even unlocking a new mutation. You get them by breaking up large pieces of Fresh Mint candy found primarily in the game's picnic table, snackbar front, and ice cream cart areas.
Grounded 2: How To Get Mint Shards
To get
mint shards, you need to break up the large candy pieces known as
Fresh Mint. These are large, rigid, yeti-like objects that are hard to miss. While they can be found across the entire backyard map, they are most abundant in a few key locations:
- The Picnic Table area.
- The Snackbar Front area.
- The Ice Cream Cart area.
In addition to these renewable sources, you can also find a limited number of mint shards from containers inside labs or on the bodies of certain enemies. To break up Fresh Mint, you will need at least a
level two Omni-Hammer. You can craft this tool with the following ingredients:
- 1x Ladybug Head
- 3x Lingonberry Leather
- 2,000 Raw Science
Breaking a piece of Fresh Mint also has a slim chance of dropping the
Suspicious Mint trinket, which adds Fresh damage to all of your attacks.
