  Genshin Impact has been standing out lately with its flagship updates titled The Chalk Prince and The Dragon which also added a series of special events in which players have the opportunity to get an item called "Glimmering Essence". This essence became popular because Act II requires players to have a lot of said essence. With this saying we will tell you how to get it easily in the game. Come now!

Where to find Glimmering Essence in Genshin Impact?

There are mainly 2 ways to get the Glimmering essence. The first is accomplished by completing the ACT II main story mission and the second is by completing the "Testing Grounds" events in Dragonspine. You can detail it on the map by means of a red and blue icon.

You must know what, even if you want to activate you cannot, you have to activate one at a time and when you have completed this mission you will see that a new one will appear in a new nearby location.

To activate each testing ground, you will have to defeat a certain number of opponents. Usually there are three or more enemies that you will have to defeat in the area.

After the previous activation job is done, open the chest to get a bunch of Glimmering Essence. If you want to get more, you will have to repeat the same procedure until you get credit for the ACT II event mission and get your Primogems for free. The number of proving grounds required to earn ACT II event mission credit is 16.

If you do all of this, you will receive 2400 Glimmering Essence that can be used in the Event Store to obtain another Festering Desire sword. Doing this will complete the missions of the Act II event. An extra piece of information is that if you don't want these essences, you can exchange them for any treasure you want in the game.
