Working your way through the game, there are different rides that are more popular than others. In order to ride the attraction, tourists will be in line waiting for what seems like hours. You will also hear some of the customers grumbling about the wait period from those customers at that time. One can get around this issue in Planet Coaster 2 using something called Priority Pass. This guide should help players understand the intricacies of the system and how to make it work to their advantage.
In Planet Coaster 2, players may use a Priority Pass ticket system for their favorite rides. When enabled, users pay more to skip the line. Impatient customers can get to the ride much more quickly, which you profit from as a result. It's the best option for the most visited attractions within your park.
Once you have chosen a ride that you want to modify, click the Finances icon to add a Priority Pass. You simply need to turn on the Priority Queue within this menu and voilа - you're ready to go. You will also want to create a Guest Services Facility near the ride for easy access to buy Priority Pass tickets from. It works the same way as Pool Passes.
The Priority Passes have to be set up individually for each ride.
When you activate the Priority Pass, you also get to decide how often the passholder can go on the rides. You will see this option on the ride's Financials tab as well. Your options are: High Priority, Medium Priority, and Low Priority.
Long queues will irritate and annoy your customers who have Priority Passes, and they will start to grumble.
There has to be a Priority Entrance and a Priority Queue created after enabling the Priority Pass. It has to be different from the main entrance, but still connected to the main walkway so people can access it. The moment you allow the Priority Queue in the game, it will ask you to build a Priority Entrance.
After placing the entry, you need to use the Path Building Tool to connect it to the main path. Your Priority Queue should be set already. You can find the construction plans that you'll need for a Planet Coaster 2 Guest Services Facility in the Build Browser, but before guests are able to use it, you should build one nearby.
Placing the Planet Coaster 2 Service Center will cost you $577.50.
Now that the queue in Planet Coaster 2 is set up, we'll go through using it. Pretty much anything you want in-game to do with your rides and attractions can be priced in any way you want, including the Priority Pass.
As stated earlier, you will need to build a Guest Services Facility for your guests to buy the Priority Pass. The cost of the Priority Pass is, by default, $10.00. However, you can change the fee for a Priority Pass in the Park Management section.
This screen also provides you with options to change the entrance fees.
Go to the Park Management menu and find the Park Options section. Select "Custom" for the Ticket Type in the Priority Pass section. Great, now it's time to set the price of the Priority Pass. Impatient customers can still purchase the Priority Pass for the same price as earlier and cut in line in Planet Coaster 2.
Now that you know How To Set Up Priority Pass in Planet Coaster 2, follow our steps to achieve it without complexity.
