In Planet Coaster 2, a Power Distributor connected to a Power Utilities building should be present whenever a new facility or structure is constructed. Planet Coaster 2: How to Connect Power
There are two parts to connecting power in Planet Coaster 2: constructing a power utility and linking power distributors to nodes. Everyone can understand the first step. To begin constructing a facility, open your Build Browser and navigate to the desired location. Place it in an open area, ideally out of the way of any curious onlookers.
No extra Power Distributor is needed in the vicinity of the Power Utilities building.
In this tutorial, we will utilize the Planet Coaster 2 Power Generator. After construction is complete, pick New Distributor from the building's menu. A Power Distributor will be chosen for your park automatically. An expansive grey area of effect (AOE) surrounds the Power Distributor, indicating the region it can power.
Put it in a part of your park that doesn't have electricity. After that, run the power wires underground until they return to the generator. The region surrounding the Power Distributor will instantly become yellow as soon as you attach the power cable to the Power Generator.
White circles will also appear as you draw the Power Lines. Here you can find the power nodes; they allow you to transfer power to other Power Distributors. By doing so, you can connect all of your amusement park's complex power supply systems to a central power source.
