Your total Park Rating is the total star ratings in each of the four categories. This gives you a ranking out of five stars. There is just a little catch, though. One of the lowest star ratings has more significant weight compared to the other three.
How To Increase Park Rating in Planet Coaster 2?
Players of Planet Coaster 2 will want to maximize all four of their Park Rating stats in order to increase their Park Rating, but it may seem daunting at first since there are several ways to do so, each of the four stats having different requirements.
Generally speaking, if you want to raise your Park Rating, the stat at the bottom of the list is a good one on which to work. When figuring your total Park Rating, the lowest of these four metrics in given more weighting than the others; hence, it has the potential to drag down your score.
Head to the Park Management menu to find out what's dropping your Park Rating in a jiffy. Take another gear and start working on this lowest stat, as it will let your Park Rating increase way faster.
But you can do that only when you know the ways as to how actually the prestige of the attractions, rating of the sceneries, number of unique attraction and the reputation of the parks can be increased.

Prestige-valued. You can check your current Prestige and the cumulative amount required to have across all your rides for the next star by looking to the top-left of the Attraction Prestige screen, accessible via Park Rating menu.
- Hire more mechanics in the team to maintain the rides. Whenever the rides breakdown, your attraction's prestige is going to suffer until they are up and running again.
- Buy or build Rides that have a high initial Prestige.
- Make sure no ride is duplicated more than once to add to the Unique Attractions count of your theme park.
- Research and unlock new Rides regularly in Career or Challenge mode using the Research Points.
- Enhance the scenery of the areas surrounding your rides and queues by using scenery items. You can also attach scenery items directly to attraction cars now.
How nice your park's scenery is
Scored via scenery. To view your park's current Score pull up, and how much Scenery Score you'll need to achieve the next star check the top-left of the Scenery Rating screen accessed via the Park Rating menu.
When constructing new areas of your park, make a mental note to regularly add scenery.
- Adding scenery to your attractions and shops will help make them more desirable to customers.
- Construction of hub areas of different themes will unlock more scenery options.
- As you construct them, offset scenery pieces on each path.
- Ensure sightseers have line of sight to see the scenery. Scenery that guests can't see, for example clipping underground, or occluded scenery doesn't count toward your total Scenery Rating.

- Be sure to provide your new coaster (or your custom ride counterpart) with unique stats when you design it. Your two coasters will be in competition for riders, each ranking similarly in Excitement and Fear.

Ranked according to Past Performance. It is possible to check your current Park Reputation level and how much more you need to get the next star at the top-left of the Park Reputation screen accessed via the Park Rating menu.
