Now, during Clash Royale Season 65, Musketeer Draft will give players a chance to try out the new Evo Musketeer between November 4 and November 11, but its Challenge will begin on November 8, in fact. This Evo is very welcome in-game since Musketeer has been absent from the meta for quite some time.
Even if you draft Evo Musketeer, that doesn't mean that you're going to win in every match. You can simply counter Evo Musketeer since it's a very situational card. Being a draft challenge, success needs to be very properly thought out. If you want to know how to win Evo Musketeer Draft Challenge in Clash Royale, this is going to be your guide.
Evo Musketeer is the 25th Evolution Card in Clash Royale, sharing thereby the same attributes with her original card; health and the amount of damage dealt remain the same. However, she has an active skill, Sniper, which gives her three bullets with infinite range.
This ability automatically activates when you drop the Evo Musketeer. She will attack any other enemy force if enemy Princess and King Towers are not in her line of sight. This unit will cause more damage with each of its three shots. She then reverts to a normal Musketeer after this.
Even though Evo Musketeer is not as potent as other Evolution Cards, it can still be used in some situations that some people might think. Instead of running the Evo Ice Spirit in your ordinary 2.6 Hog Rider deck, you can consider using it in order to shoot out your opponent's defense buildings, thus allowing your Hog Rider to reach the Tower. Place it in the back, and when your opponent puts it there, you can snipe out an Electro Wizard or Night Witch.
Naturally, as the meta progresses, one can be very sure that players will indeed find even more innovative uses for this card. But for now, it is a solid new addition to the game that holds a lot of promise, especially in the Evo Musketeer Draft Challenge.
During the time-bound Evo Musketeer Draft event/challenge, players will be able to use the Evo Musketeer without its being unlocked or not. Since with draft mode, players can't possibly use any of the decks they have already built, they'll have to generate a random deck for each match, comprised of cards.
Each player in Evo Musketeer must select four cards at the start of each match, as does his opponent. You will have two choices for each option; while he draws new cards, you add the one you have chosen to your deck. In other words, you get to pick four cards, and so does your opponent. The Challenge limits each player to only one Evo Card, so if you pick the Evo Musketeer, you will give the other Evo Card in the match to your opponent.
Evo Musketeer will obviously gain huge advantage in the tournament, but if you have an opportunity to choose an Evolution card, then you are recommended to take Evo Pekka or Evo Goblin Drill.
And the spell card you have should be selected with great thought. For example, a card like Fireball or Poison may suit almost any deck. It damages their Princess Towers, but it also counter's the Evo Musketeer, so that is a good point of the card. Since the Evo Musketeer cannot handle beatdown cards such as the Golem or the Goblin Giant, you should include those in your game as well. Balloon isn't the best event win condition simply because Musketeer is its best counter.
Also, be careful with the Witch, as she can be a counter. Witch is your best hope if you think that your opponent plays the Evo Musketeer. Skeletons summoned by the Witch can absorb the Sniper shots of the Evo Musketeer, making her almost useless if played tactically. In case you have already played the Witch to your opponent, then do not use the Evo Musketeer. Instead, use the other Evo card available to you.
Examples of such swarm soldiers include Minion Hordes and Skeleton Armies, which tend to do quite well in Clash Royale draft events. They can be pretty worth your while, assuming, of course, your opponent isn't prepared to handle them. Having a defensive structure is highly recommended; cards such as Inferno Tower or Tesla will work great in completely blocking a large portion of your opponent's cards.
The Cannon isn't the best defending building in my opinion because the Musketeer can counter it from distance.
As already discussed, don't take an Evo card lightly if an opportunity is presented. Having Evo Musketeer played will not automatically win. We were able to win this match even though our opponent had the Evo Musketeer in the event game:
