To help manage and feed the farm animals you add to your area, it's a great building item. So in this guide we will teach you how to get a silo with the aforementioned capacities. Stay to find out!

How to get a silo in Stardew Valley?

You can do this by talking to Robin in the carpentry. To build the silo Robin will ask you for 100 pieces of gold, 100 stones, 10 clay, and five copper bars. The silo takes up a three-by-three space on your lot, so make sure you have a location set up before ordering the structure.

You only need the structure of a silo to manage all the animals you have, and if you don't have room for more hay, you can collect the extra in a chest. Hay is easily stacked and filled in only one slot, and when you need more, you can toss it into your silo without taking up additional space in your inventory.

You should know that any grass that you cut with a scythe has a 50 percent chance of dropping hay as long as you have a flax, and this material automatically goes into the structure. This will not count if you use a sword, pickaxe, or any other object to cut grass. It only works with a scythe.

Whenever you are going to feed your animals, the hay dispenser should have a small pile of hay that you can pick up and distribute to the nearby feeder.

Now that you know how to get a silo in Stardew Valley you will be able to obtain a much greater profit every time you do something on your farm, in addition to giving it more order. Luck!
