1. Search for newspaper clippings:


  • Most Reliable Method: Completing "Diary Scrap #10" is the surest way to obtain an Ostrich Egg.

How to find the Journal Scrap:


  • Journal Scraps are found randomly on Ginger Island while you perform activities such as killing monsters, cutting down trees, opening chests, or exploring dungeons.
  • Once you have "Diary Scrap #10", exit the Volcano and use the hoe next to the J-shaped palm tree to dig up an Ostrich Egg.
  • Please note: If you don't have the Scrap in your inventory, you won't be able to dig the location and you won't get the egg.

2. Exploring the Volcano Dungeon:

  • More Challenging Method: This option involves exploring the dangerous Volcano Dungeon in search of rare treasure chests.
  • Chances of Success: The chance of finding an Ostrich Egg in a Rare Chest is 11%.
