With our help you will see that knowing How to enable Arachnophobia Mode in Satisfactory is easier than you think.

We know that arachnophobia is no joke, and Satisfactory makes sure to unleash a swarm of Stingers upon you, which can make you quit the game and never come back. Thankfully, players can take solace in the fact that an Arachnophobia Mode is available to cater for those fears, making the game easier to use.

With the feature "Arachnophobia Mode" turned on, three cat sprites replace the Stinger models. Here we have Baby Stingers, Alpha Stingers, and Elite Gas Stingers represented by an orange cat, a black cat, and "lying black cats," respectively.

How to Enable Arachnophobia Mode in Satisfactory

Turning on Arachnophobia Mode in Satisfactory isn't exactly rocket science; just fire up the Options menu, and the rest should be pretty intuitive. To do this, just follow the following simple steps to unlock Arachnophobia Mode:

  • Select "Options."
  • Click the "Gameplay" button.
  • Put a checkmark next to arachnophobia.
  • Click "Save" after checking the box.

Where terrifying demon spawn once chased you, adorable feline holograms will now hunt you down. It's all thanks to Arachnophobia Mode, developed by Coffee Stain Studios, an option for people with extreme spider phobia, which finally makes Satisfactory bearable.

Complete Guide to Stingers

You'll still want to know its habits, its abilities, and how to defeat it regardless if you are in Arachnophobia Mode or not. If you are, the defeat is less sweet and more devastating since you'll be shooting at the cute kittens.

Snarling Skills

Although all the Stingers can use Slash, the Baby Stinger only deals five damage while the Alpha and Elite Gas deal thirty. Leap can be used by the Alpha and Elite Stingers. Lunging at the enemy, it slashes, resulting in 50 damages. The Elite Gas Stingers are the most dangerous of these types of Gas Stingers, unleashing a Poison attack. This poison gas affects you for 25 seconds, and with its 15-meter radius, your character gets five points of damage each second.

Night Alpha and Elite Gas Stingers spawn exclusively at night and can climb nearly any vertical surface, including Lookout Towers and trees.

Hostile Actions

Of all the stingers, the baby stingers are the safest and most common. The late-game biomes that you can find Alpha Stingers inhabiting caverns include the Red Bamboo Fields and the Swamp. The latter also has Elite Gas Stingers.

Besides automatically retaliating against you, the protagonist, stingers can cause real harm to vehicles en-masse. They usually fly in zigzag motions, which, wherever seen in swarms can be disorienting and dangerous too. If you time your dodges just right, however, Alpha and Elite Gas Stinger are able to withstanding damage and death amongst one another through their leaping attack due to friendly fire feature.

Deny Malicious Claims

While both Xeno-Bashers and Xeno-Slashers can kill a Baby Stinger with just two hits, an Alpha Stinger and an Elite Gas Stinger are most vulnerable to side jumps. For killing Stingers at a distance, make use of Homing Ammo with Rebar Gun or Rifle with Turbo. To avoid the Leap attack of Stinger, equip Blade Runners as that gives you boost in jump height and jump speed.

That's all there is to know about How to enable Arachnophobia Mode in Satisfactory, you just have to follow the instructions to achieve it and take advantage of this element of the game.
