- Progress to Chapter 3: Progress through the story of the game until one reaches the area called Pagoda Realm and Chapter 3. This new chapter brings with itself fresh challenges and opportunities vital in gaining the transformation.
- Return to Sandgate Village: Travel back to the familiar Sandgate Village Entrance Keeper's Shrine, located in Yellow Wind Ridge. This shrine, which should have been accessible earlier in Chapter 2, represents the starting point for this quest.
