How to use Item Restoration in WoW

As a safety net, Blizzard has provided Item Restoration, which can be used to recover lost equipment, such as your main weapon or that legendary tier piece. Actually, it is pretty easy to initiate, although there are a couple of key prerequisites you will have to meet prior to proceeding. I will show how it's done, but only after you have an idea of the limitations; meanwhile, I enumerate them below for convenience.

Restricted Access to Restored Items

Your World of Warcraft account must not be banned or suspended at the time.
There is no vendor's Buyback Tab for your item.
It can't be that the item or items which you are selling are consumable, collector, or limited edition.
Please do not mail auction, or trade your items away via the Auction House.
There are a couple of other things to note before you start the process to repair.
If you accidentally deleted them in-game you will need to undelete the item from character inventory.
You should still have the materials that were used to disenchant/ scrap the item within your inventory.
If your item(s) meet the requirements, then you're pretty much free to do so since you can restore up to 50 items once every seven days on each character. Once everything is in place, you can get your items restored by checking the official Blizzard Entertainment website.

After logging in, select the player whose item has gone missing. By doing this, you are able to view in a list all the items the character had access to before they got destroyed or were removed. Secondly, you will need to review the items that have been restored by selecting them, then click the Review Item Restoration button. You will get one last prompty to make sure you've selected the correct things. Click the Restore Items button once you're positive that everything is in order; give this process a bit of time to finish processing. Once they are restored, your lost goods will appear within your virtual inbox. Finally, remember you cannot recover an item that has been destroyed if it does not appear on the list.
