How To Get Voidfire Deathcycle in World of Warcraft

Horrific Visions of Orgrimmar and Stormwind, a feature originally introduced in the final major patch of Battle for Azeroth, have returned to World of Warcraft in a revamped form. With the upcoming The War Within (released August 26, 2024) and Midnight (expected August 2025) expansions featuring strong void themes, Blizzard has brought back these challenging activities with new rewards, including the coveted Voidfire Deathcycle mount. Unlike random drops, this purple version of the Hateforged Blazecycle is a hidden secret that requires a specific series of steps to uncover.

How to Get the Voidfire Deathcycle in World of Warcraft

Before you can even begin the process of obtaining the Voidfire Deathcycle, you must first complete all objectives and defeat the final boss in either a Horrific Vision of Stormwind or Orgrimmar. Successfully doing so will unlock one of the Faceless Masks, which are challenge modifiers that increase the difficulty and rewards of the activity. Once you have at least one mask unlocked, you must equip it before starting a Horrific Vision of Stormwind.Note: Horrific Visions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar rotate weekly. If Orgrimmar is the active vision, you will need to wait until the next weekly reset to access Stormwind.Activating one or more masks not only makes Horrific Visions more challenging and yields more Displaced Corrupted Mementos, but it also reveals certain hidden elements. One such element is the Voidfire Deathcycle itself.You will find the Voidfire Deathcycle in the Dwarven District of Horrific Vision of Stormwind, near the auction house. Attack it until Haymar the Devout spawns. Defeat Haymar and then interact with the Voidfire Deathcycle. A dialogue option will appear; select it. This action will cause a ghostly version of the Voidfire Deathcycle to manifest outside the entrance to Horrific Visions in Dornogal (the main hub for the revisited visions in The War Within content).Upon interacting with the bike in Dornogal, you'll see dialogue options concerning its parts. To acquire the Voidfire Deathcycle mount, you must locate all its necessary components within the Horrific Visions of both Stormwind and Orgrimmar, and also gather specific crafting materials.Important: Any progress made towards building the Voidfire Deathcycle is Warband-bound, meaning it applies to your entire account. If you acquire and insert a part on one character, that progress is shared across all your characters, eliminating the need to re-obtain it on alts. This is particularly convenient if you have an Engineer alt.

How to Get the Parts for the Voidfire Deathcycle

The process of acquiring the Voidfire Deathcycle involves gathering a mix of new and old materials.

1. Craftable and Purchasable Materials:

First, you'll want to craft or purchase the following materials. All of these need to be of Rank Three quality:

• 12 Entropy Enhancer
• 5 Weavercloth Spellthread
• 3 Whimsical Wiring
• 1 Refulgent Crystal
• 1 Storm-Touched Weapon Wrap
• 1 Convincingly Realistic Jumper Cables
• 1 Recalibrated Safety Switch
• 1 Irresistible Red Button

The Irresistible Red Button is the most challenging of these to acquire, as it is a bind-on-pickup item crafted by Engineers.

• If you are an Engineer: You can craft it yourself, provided your Khaz Algar Engineering skillis sufficiently high and you have the necessary sub-components.
• If you are not an Engineer:
  • Consider learning Engineering on an alt character, even without leveling it significantly.
  • Near the portal to Azj-Kahet in Dornogal, there is a building containing the Black Market Auction House. Inside this building, Engineers can loot an item that grants all the Piles of Rusted Scrap needed for the Irresistible Red Button. Since Piles of Rusted Scrap are also bind-on-pickup, having an Engineer character is crucial.
  • Gather the other materials required for the Irresistible Red Button (12Handfuls of Bismuth Bolts, 3 Whimsical Wiring, 4 Gyrating Gears, and 1Entropy Enhancer).
  • Create a public Craft Order for the Irresistible Red Button. Be sure to leave a generous tip toincrease the likelihood of another player fulfilling your order.
  • Alternatively, vendors around Khaz Algar, such as Apothecary Rz in the City ofThreads, may occasionally sell limited quantities of Piles of RustedScrap. This method might take several days to gather all the necessarymaterials.

2. Legacy Materials from Wrath of the Lich King:

You also need to acquire some older materials from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. These are sold by Roxi Ramrocket in K3, Storm Peaks:

• 1 Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe
• 4 Goblin-Machined Pistons

These materials can only be purchased and will cost you 5,500 gold. While this may seem substantial, gold is generally easier to acquire in modern World of Warcraft compared to the Wrath of the Lich King era.

3. Materials from Horrific Visions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar:

Finally, you must gather specific items directly from within the HorrificVisions themselves. Some are found as loot within the activity, whileothers drop from chests upon completion. Remember, you must have at least one mask equipped to be eligible for these drops.

Once you have meticulously obtained all the above parts and materials,return to the ghostly Voidfire Deathcycle hologram in Dornogal. Interact with it, and you will be prompted to insert these items. After allparts have been successfully inserted, the Voidfire Deathcycle will beadded to your mount collection.
