1. Capitalize on Infinite Research Tasks
The core of fast leveling in Legion Remix revolves around Infinite Research tasks, which function as high-value daily quests rewarding enormous chunks of XP and Bronze. These should be your top priority as you journey to level 80.Interacting with Eternus
The Infinite Research tasks are offered by Eternus, the gigantic Infinite Dragon located at the Infinite Bazaar on the east side of the main isle. Eternus will present you with four quest options at a time, but their value can vary greatly.
- Prioritize Easy Tasks: Some tasks are far better for raw XP farming than others. For example, a quest requiring you to simply use Skyriding to fly through a certainnumber of Demons for Bronze is much quicker than one demanding you killmultiple Rare Elite enemies, especially while in Heroic World Tier.
- Manipulate the Offerings: If the initial selection of quests is inefficient, you have options to refresh the list:
- Refresh Option: After completing an Infinite Research task, you can ask Eternus for anew set of options. Use this to cycle through and "fish" for simpler,quicker quests.
- "Open World" Focus: You can ask Eternus to influence her quest offerings. By choosing to lean towards "Open World" tasks in the sub-menu, you increase the chance of gettingeasy-to-complete objectives like "Kill Enemies" or "Collect BronzeMotes."
- Increased Challenge: You can also ask Eternus to raise the difficulty, which mandates entering Heroic World Tier but boosts the potential XP reward.
XP Scaling and Task Limits
The experience granted by these quests scales with your account's accumulated XP Gain bonus. At higher levels—especially after hitting level 70, when acomplimentary 250% XP boost kicks in—a single Infinite Research questcan fill a significant portion, or even more, of your entire XP bar.
Players are limited to a certain number of tasks daily, indicated by the boxesnext to Eternus. You start with the capacity to hold six tasks at once,which expands to 12, and then a maximum of 18, with two new tasks becoming available each day. Always strive to complete your available tasks to keep the XP flowing.
2. Complete Zone Campaigns for Massive Account-Wide Bonuses
While Infinite Research is your daily XP burst, completing the main story of each Legion zone provides invaluable permanent XP increases for your entire account.
The Power of the Perfected Epoch Memento
- Chapter Rewards (1% Boost): Every time you complete a chapter within a zone’s campaign story, you receive an Epoch Memento, granting a 1% XP Gain boost to your account.
- Full Zone Reward (10% Boost): More importantly, upon completing an entire zone story (marked by a dark brown badge behind the exclamation point) and earning the associated achievement, you receive the powerful Perfected Epoch Memento, which grants a substantial 10% XP Gain increase across all your characters.
Focusing exclusively on these primary questlines, utilizing your full arsenal of Remix abilities, and making use of speed boosts means you can clear anentire zone in under two hours. This is a highly efficient investmentthat also rewards you with Bronze, XP consumables, and new gear from Caches of Infinite Treasure.
Best Zones to Prioritize
While all zone campaigns offer the 10% bonus, some are generally faster or more engaging:
- Recommended First: Stormheim or Valsharah are generally recommended for their engaging quest flows and unique narrative moments.
- High Efficiency: Thanks to the Skyriding movement system, Highmountain has become a very efficient zone to traverse and complete.
- The Quick Option: Azsuna can be completed quickly, though some find its story to be the least compelling of the four original Broken Isles zones.
3. Leverage Heroic World Tier (Best for Tanks)
The Heroic World Tier is an optional difficulty setting that significantly increases thechallenge of open-world content (enemies, quests, and World Quests)while providing massively boosted XP and Bronze gains from non-quest sources.
The Triple XP Benefit
Heroic World Tier grants nearly triple the experience from basic enemy kills. A standard enemy that might grant 400 XP on normal difficulty can provide over 1,200 XP in Heroic World Tier (the exact amount depends on your current XP Gainbonus). Rare and Elite enemies yield XP amounts comparable to standardquests. Additionally, enabling Heroic World Tier unlocks the moredifficult Infinite Research tasks that offer even higher XP payouts.
The Tank Advantage
- Tanks Dominate: For Tank classes, Heroic World Tier is highly recommended, especially up tolevel 70. Their innate survivability—defense buffs, self-heals, anddamage mitigation—makes the increased difficulty negligible, allowingthem to chain-pull and grind at maximum efficiency.
- Caution for DPS and Healers: DPS and Healer classes will find this mode much more challenging. They can stillbenefit from the massive XP gains, but must play meticulously, using all available crowd control and defensive tools to avoid being overwhelmedby enemy packs.
When to Turn it Off
Once you reach Level 70, the difficulty of Heroic World Tier sees another dramatic spike. Atthis point, even Tanks may find the risk outweighs the reward. Considerturning off Heroic World Tier at level 70 to finish the final 10 levelsquickly by focusing solely on your remaining Infinite Research tasks and other leveling methods.
