How to Add Pokémon Mod in TCG Card Shop Simulator
That sounds great, but the point of TCG Card Shop Simulator is that you only have a single IP to work with, called Tetramons. You know damn well the shop is chock-full of card games, such as Pokémon, that you just can't wait to get your hands on. Thankfully, add-ons are downloadable, and for your sake, a Pokémon mod has been prepared by the amazing community. Here's how you install the Pokémon mod for TCG Card Shop Simulator.
How to Add Pokémon Mod in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
Nexusmods is one of the best centers for modders, and so they have modifications for TCG Card Shop Simulator. You should download the Pokémon mod by Thanzo, but in case other mods for the game pop up, you need to select the one you want to install.
The installation instructions will vary from mod to mod, but most of the time, most mods do come with some semblance of installation instructions. When you download Thanzo's Pokémon mod, you get three asset files.
To install the TCG Card Shop Simulator, use these three files in place of the original installation folder's files.
Please replace the following three files:
- resources.assets
- available.assets
- shared.assets
- and shared.assets1.s
Look for the installation folder of Steam in your computer's program files, and inside that folder, there should be another folder named TCG Card Shop Simulator. Now, access this path:
Which path exactly? It would go like this: under Steamapps > common > TCG Card Shop Simulator.
All asset files are to be copied and overwritten in this folder. If you want to be able to uninstall the mod, you may instead want to back up the original asset files to another folder. If you do not do this, you might need to reinstall the game to get rid of the Pokémon mod.
What does the Pokémon Mod include in the TCG Card Shop Simulator?
Based on the replaced files, this Pokémon mod simply replaces some of the game's assets with Pokémon. The few base Tetramons in that would be changed to Squirtle, Sandshrew, and other basic Pokémon. You won't see many Pokémon because there aren't too many Tetramons.
The entire floor and sign of the business will be changed into Pokémon. The Play Tables will also have a few mats. The same goes for everything that you put on sale. For gameplay, it would still remain the same. Its theme would be after Pokémon secret arts and alternate arts, though you might get a little confused as to where to get expensive cards. The only difference was the assets, so the card prices would remain the same, and the most expensive packs still contain the best cards in them.
