This comprehensive guide will show you where to collect the Ancient Notes that will fill the clue bar and finish the quest, bringing you one step closer to the felcycle.
How to Find Buried Tweasure in WoW
You need to locate three Ancient Treasure Notes concealed in Tanaris before you can retrieve the buried "tweasure" that Maru asked for. If you want to know where each note is, you can either read on or put these coordinates into TomTom:
- Route #71, intersection of 37.60 and 84.12, leads to the entrance of the Ruins of Uldum.
- Way #71, 47.51, 56.49, Ancient Treasure Note 1, Two-Fold Ancient Treasure
- Note #71: 38.84: 22.09 Note 3 from the Ancient Treasures (flashlight required) /

No. 1: Ancillary Relic Note
Located in Tanaris's Ruins of Uldum is the first Ancient Treasure Note. Below the Valley of Watchers, you can see this structure on the map marked with a gate icon. You can find the note by going to the room's rear and searching the sand beside the empty chest on your right.

Ancient Treasure Note #2
On the eastern side of the lofty rocky outcrop adjacent to Dunemaul Compound lies the next Ancient Treasure Note. Use the Idol of Ohn'ahra toy to show you the way if you're having trouble finding it.

Note on an Age-Old Find #3
Just outside Zul'farrak's entrance is the last Ancient Treasure Note. It may be found by using the Torch of Pyrreth on the exterior wall that surrounds the entrance on the left, across from the mound of skulls and masks.

Finding Yennu
Part three of "Buried Tweasure" takes place in Gadgetzan, where we see Yennu, a cute little Tuskarr kid, enjoying a bowl of soup. He resides in a building adjacent to the entrance on the northeast. Speaking with Yennu is all that's needed to finish the quest.

Go back to Maru in World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary area to turn in "Buried Tweasure" after you've found all three Ancient Treasure Notes and spoken to Yennu. Upon completion of the task, you will be granted access to the second portion of Chapter 4 and given 5 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
