Darkshore stands out as one of the initial leveling zones for the Alliance in World of Warcraft Classic. Here, numerous Night Elf characters will carry on the adventure they began in Teldrassil, while other races may choose to venture here in pursuit of experiences beyond the neighboring zones of Westfall and Loch Modan.

Reaching Darkshore WoW Classic: How to get to Darkshorepose a challenge for certain races.

If you happen to be a Night Elf, that's fantastic. You’ve already completed the majority of the groundwork required to reach Darkshore. As you journey through the captivating Kalimdor storyline, a visit to Darkshore is an essential stop on your adventure. For those of us not choosing Night Elves, it looks like we’ll have to do some walking, take a boat, and make our way over to Elf-land.

WoW Classic: How to get to Darkshore

Darkshore lies in the northwestern region of Kalimdor, where all Alliance races, except for the Night Elves, embark on their leveling journey across Azeroth’s other continent, the Eastern Kingdoms. You'll need to hop on a boat to journey between continents, with a little walking sprinkled in for good measure.

Traveling from the Eastern Kingdoms to Darkshore is a breeze when you take a flight to Ironforge. While in Stormwind, why not hop on the Deeprun Tram and make your way to the dwarven capital? Your journey continues as you make your way to Menethil Harbor, nestled along the picturesque west coast of the Wetlands.

In Classic WoW, you can easily traverse the border mountains of Dun Morogh and execute a death skip, but this option is not available on Hardcore Classic servers. To ensure a secure journey from Ironforge to Menethil Harbor, start by taking the road from Dun Morogh that leads into Loch Modan, then head north into the Wetlands. Although the path ahead is generally secure, it's essential to stay alert as you approach the harbor. Some mobs may wander off their designated routes and ambush you, posing a serious threat, especially if you're a low-level character.

The journey from Ironforge to Menethil is achievable for a level one character, as long as you stay vigilant for powerful foes lurking nearby. Traveling through the North Gate Pass and onward to Dun Algaz will lead you straight to Menethil.

Upon arriving at Menethil Harbor, make your way to the boat located at the far-right end of the docks. Set sail on this boat to reach Auberdine, the central quest hub of Darkshore. Begin your adventure in Kalimdor, where you can explore zones such as Teldrassil and the majestic Night Elf capital of Darnassus.
