Stardew Valley: How to Get Ostriches - Ultimate Guide

The first thing to know is that the ostrich is an end game animal, so you will need to complete all the community board packs at the community center.
After completing the game you will have to gain access to the plans of an ostrich incubator and ostrich eggs to finally obtain ostriches.
To get the plans for the incubator, you will have to go to Ginger Island from Willy's shop and repair the boat that will allow you to travel to Ginger Island.
Upon reaching the island you will have to find Professor Snail near the base of the volcano, next to his store repairing the bridge. Snail will be trapped behind a rock, and you will need to use a bomb to free him.Then you will have to collect all the museum fossils that you can get on Ginger Island.
After completing all the tasks of Professor Snail you will receive the plans of the ostrich incubator to incubate the eggs of these animals.
The Incubator Recipe calls for 50 Bone Fragments, 50 Hardwood Fragments, and 20 Ash Fragments.
When you build the incubator you will have to take it to the barn.
How to get ostriches in Stardew Valley - Eggs.
To get the first egg you will have to excavate the treasure shown in Journal Scrap # 10.
You will be able to get your second egg on the ninth level of the volcano after completing a puzzle to unlock the chest in that maze.
When you have an egg you will have to right-click on the incubator while holding it, keep in mind that each incubator can hold only one egg at a time. It does not matter if there are several incubators and several, only and will hatch one at a time when entering the barn, so eggs will have to go out and back in to hatch more ostriches.
You will have to wait 12 days for the egg to hatch, and you will have to wait for it to mature before it can lay eggs.
Make sure the barn isn't full or the egg won't hatch until it has enough room for an ostrich.
