Discover how to master all event types in  Love And Deepspace.  Unlock secrets and strategies for a successful gameplay experience!

Love and Deepspace offers a rich and ever-evolving experience with a constant stream of events, from daily tasks to monthly specials. With so many event types, it can be challenging to remember the specifics of each when they return. This guide aims to provide a comprehensive overview of each event category and how to effectively participate in them, allowing you to prepare strategically as new and returning events appear.

Love And Deepspace: How To Complete All Event Types

General Event Mechanics

While Love and Deepspace events vary in their format, they often share some common characteristics:

  • Paired or Grouped Events: Events rarely appear in isolation. You'll typically see multiple events running concurrently, especially Wish Pool Events which almost always coincide with 'Active' events.
  • Wish Pool and Active Event Interaction: Often, the featured Wish Pool and the ongoing Active event will have interconnected elements. Memories pulled from the Wish Pool might directly relate to the Active event's storyline or offer advantages within it (e.g., Wander in Wonder memories and Mountain Journey Map Quests).
  • Replayable Story Stages (Most Active Events): For many Active events, the story stages can be replayed via the Love Timeline in the With Him menu after you've completed the entire story during the event's runtime.
  • Non-Replayable Written Stages: Certain story elements, such as text message conversations or other text-based narratives within events, are usually not replayable once the event concludes. Be sure to read and enjoy these during the event period.
  • Character Factoids: Some events reveal new and interesting facts about the Love Interests. These newly discovered details will be added to their "About Him" bio in the Deepspace Café's With Him menu.

Wish Pool Events

Wish Pool events are a staple of Love and Deepspace, introducing limited-time Wish Pools alongside the standard Xspace Echo. These pools feature exclusive, limited-run five-star memories. While the primary focus is on these event-specific memories, you can still obtain all permanent pool memories from event Wish Pools.

All Wish Pool events require Deepspace Wish: Limited to perform pulls. These wishes can be acquired by:

  • Purchasing them with Diamonds.
  • Buying them in the in-game shop with real-world currency.
  • Earning them as rewards from pulls within the Wish Pool itself.
  • Obtaining them as rewards from other events like the Seasonal Promise.

Single-Character Showcase

  • These Wish Pools highlight a single Love Interest's limited five-star memory.
  • They are character-specific and offer only one limited-time memory.
  • While not the most efficient way to collect numerous five-star memories, they are excellent for targeting specific characters and their combat memories.
  • These pools often feature memories with Stellactrum types that are unusual for the featured character, allowing for more diverse combat team compositions. If you see a pool with a 'rare' Stellactrum for a character you use, it can be a worthwhile investment.

Four-Character Pools

  • These pools are less frequent and typically coincide with major Active events like Exploration events, which also feature all four Love Interests.
  • Each Love Interest has one event memory in the pool, and all four memories have an equal chance of being pulled. However, these odds are still better than pulling a permanent five-star memory.
  • All-character pools are considered the most efficient way to obtain multiple five-star event memories, diversify your Stellactrum types across your team, and potentially get duplicates of desired five-star memories for ranking up. If you can save up resources, prioritize pulling on these pools for the best return on investment.
  • You can change your Pity Pull memory selection at any time within these pools.
  • These pools often include incentive systems like Pull Rewards, Pity Pulls, and special reward menus for obtaining and leveling the event memories.

How Do Pity Pulls Work?

  • Pity Pulls are a beneficial mechanic often associated with larger Wish Pool events, particularly four-character pools.
  • They reward players for consistent pulling by guaranteeing a chosen event memory after a certain number of unsuccessful five-star pulls.
  • Each time you complete a ten-wish draw, if you receive a five-star memory that is not one of the featured event memories, you earn a Pity Point.
  • The next time you pull a five-star memory after accumulating a Pity Point, it is guaranteed to be the specific event memory you selected in the Pity Pull selection. This can occur on the very next pull or take up to the pool's guaranteed five-star threshold (around 62-63 pulls).
  • After your Pity Point is used, the system resets, and you can choose another memory for your next Pity Pull. You can change your Pity Pull selection at any time, except during an active Wish Pool draw.
  • Every Wish Pool has a guaranteed five-star pull threshold, ensuring you obtain at least one five-star memory within a certain number of pulls.

How Do Pull Rewards Work?

  • Pull Rewards are bonus items granted for reaching specific pull milestones within a Wish Pool, typically every 10 to 25 pulls (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75, and 100 pulls).
  • The rewards vary depending on the pool but often include limited-time photobooth items or accessories, Deepspace Wish: Limited, or various upgrade resources.

Active Events

Active events require direct player participation to complete stages, tasks, and earn rewards. They can involve story progression, mini-games, daily task lists, and special exchange shops. Active events generally have shorter durations compared to most passive events, excluding some Log-In events.

Exploration And Journey Events

  • These events typically feature all the Love Interests and involve a journey or exploration through a specific location or event scenario.
  • They often have a dedicated page for each character, but the core event activities are usually the same across all characters.
  • A key component is an exploration stage where you navigate a map, encountering stories, rewards, or combat.
  • These events also include character-specific story stages (around four to five) that can be replayed in the Love Timeline.
  • Important: Explorations may also reveal written story segments that are not replayable after the event ends.
  • Mini-games are a common feature, which can include match-two, memory, or merge-two puzzles (e.g., Mountain Journey's Treasure Hunt).
  • Exploration events usually have daily agenda tasks to complete, which might involve regular Daily Agenda tasks or event-specific actions like clearing certain event stages.
  • Completing event tasks earns you event-specific currency, which can be used in a special event shop to purchase limited-run items, outfits, poses, and more. These shop items are unlikely to return after the event.
  • The event structure is designed to allow you to earn enough currency to purchase all limited-edition items from the shop by the time the event concludes, provided you complete the tasks.

Birthday Events

  • These special events occur annually for each character and can even include your own birthday.
  • The narrative typically revolves around planning a birthday celebration or surprise for the featured Love Interest.
  • Gameplay involves activities like baking a cake, acquiring food, playing story stages, and completing daily tasks for event currency.
  • Birthday events also have dedicated event shops with unique, limited-time items. Similar to Exploration events, you can earn enough currency to clear the shop.
  • Each Birthday event is accompanied by a special birthday Wish Pool featuring a limited-time memory.
  • Obtaining the birthday memory unlocks a built-in birthday story replay interface, accessible via a birthday cake button on the memory's page.
  • A unique reward of Birthday events is that you get to keep the cake you baked as a desk decoration after the event ends.

Photoshoot Events

  • Photoshoot events are another frequent event type where you collaborate with one of the Love Interests to create seven posters using Twinkle Studio.
  • You'll need to use Glint Photobooth and Snapshot photos to fulfill themed prompts for each poster. Matching the provided hints with outfits, accessories, stickers, and poses is crucial.
  • At the end of each shoot, your poster is graded. Aim for three stars on every poster to maximize rewards.
  • For example, Zayne's Cuteness Crush event was pet-themed, requiring the incorporation of animal elements for three-star ratings.
  • After completing a shoot, you can choose to print your poster and receive a star rating or redo the photo. Redoing a photo erases all progress on that specific poster.
  • You have a daily limit of 20 reprinting attempts across all your posters.
  • General tips for achieving three stars include using duo poses whenever possible and incorporating as many accessories and stickers as thematically appropriate.
  • Photoshoot events also include four story stages that unlock between poster prints, which can be replayed in the Love Timeline.

Passive Events

Passive events run in the background without requiring active participation beyond logging in or playing as usual. They include Log-In events and passive drop rate boosts. These events do not have event shops, daily tasks, or mini-games. They typically offer 'free' memories, resources, and other special rewards simply for participating.

The Seasonal Promise

  • This event spans three months (a full season) and offers two four-star memories as key rewards.
  • To earn these memories and other rewards, you need to complete your Daily and Weekly Agenda tasks in the Deepspace Café.
  • Completing Agenda tasks earns Promise Marks, which increase your Seasonal Promise level (60 levels in total).
  • Reaching certain Promise levels grants special rewards like four-star memories, Deepspace Wish: Limited, and limited-time accessories and outfits.
  • While two four-star memories are available, you need to purchase the Secret Promise or Heartfelt Vow (with real-world money) to earn all copies needed to max-rank one or both memories, respectively.
  • Diamonds can be used to purchase Promise Levels if you want to progress faster or are struggling to complete the Season before it ends.
  • Each week, you receive a Mark Giftbox containing Promise Marks to help boost your level.
  • It's generally possible to complete all 60 Promise Levels well before the season ends.
  • After reaching level 60, you continue to accumulate Promise Marks, which are then converted into Promise Gifts (one gift every 200 Promise Marks).
  • Promise Gifts contain random rewards such as Gold, Diamonds, Bottle of Wishes (SR), and Core Energy (SR).

Log-In Events

  • Log-in events reward players simply for logging into the game and accessing the event screen daily.
  • They typically last between five to ten days, though durations can vary.
  • Log-ins do not need to be consecutive within the event period. For example, a ten-reward event over fifteen days allows you to miss some days and still claim all rewards.
  • Rewards often include Diamonds, Empyrean Wishes, upgrade resources, and four or five-star memories (usually awarded on the final day).
  • Since only one copy of the event memory is typically given, it is often added to the permanent Wish Pool (Xspace Echo or Galaxy Explorer) or the Wishing Well Exchange shop (purchasable with Stardust).
  • You earn one Stardust for every memory pulled from Xspace Echo or limited-time event pools. Five-star memories in the Wishing Well Exchange cost 180 Stardust and some are on a monthly rotation with a one-time purchase limit per rotation.
  • Memories earned as log-in rewards can eventually become permanently available in the shop (e.g., Zayne: Frozen Nightfall).

Drop Boost Events

  • These events occur sporadically each month and last for a few days at a time.
  • During a Drop Boost event, you receive twice the normal drop rewards for completing combat stages.
  • You can claim these double rewards up to ten times each day.

Playtime Events

  • Playtime events bridge the gap between Passive and Active events. They don't alter the UI or add new event pages (passive-like) but require active participation in specific game modes within the Date tab to earn rewards.
  • There are currently two types of Playtime events:
    • Claw Machine Events: Introduce new permanent or limited-time plushies to the Claw Machine and increase the drop rate of these special plushies. Aim to collect the limited-edition plushie with each Love Interest during the event, as they contribute to your overall plushie collection in the With Him menu. These plushies can be in the regular or Two Prong Claw Machine.
    • Kitty Cards and Kitty Counter Events: Offer opportunities to earn new Meowco badges from limited-time or eventually permanent Meowco packs (Kitty Counter). During these events, you also earn special Kitty Counter Tokens to use on the newly added Meowco Badge pack. Meowco Badges also contribute to character collections, so try to obtain as many as possible. Remember you have a limited number of free attempts per character in Kitty Cards each week (three), so consider purchasing Kitty Tickets or additional rounds if you want more chances at rare badges.

Event Reruns

  • Starting in 2025 (the game's second year), Love and Deepspace began re-running special events for brief periods. Not all events will return, but many significant ones will.
  • During a rerun Wish Pool, you can pull memories that are no longer regularly available.
  • Important Difference: Rerun Wish Pools do not use Deepspace Wishes or Empyrean Wishes. Instead, they require a new currency called Time Wish: Limited.
  • Time Wishes cannot be purchased outside of an active rerun Wish Pool, so you cannot stockpile them in advance.
  • The best way to prepare for event reruns is to save Diamonds. Time Wishes can be purchased for 150 Diamonds directly from the rerun Wish Pool's pull screen.
