How To Reach the Memorium in Hollow Knight Silksong

In the sprawling and complex world of Hollow Knight: Silksong, the Citadel acts as a major hub, connecting various regions and offering new challenges. One of the most important areas within the Citadel is Memorium, a mid-to-late-game zone that serves as a gateway to other locations. Reaching Memorium requires Hornet to possess specific abilities and navigate some of the game’s more difficult platforming sections.

Silksong: How To Reach the Memorium

Essential Abilities for Access

Before you can even begin your journey to Memorium, you must have acquired two crucial abilities:

• Clawline: This ability, which allows Hornet to throw her needle like a grappling hook to latch onto surfaces and enemies, is found in the eastern part of the Underworks area. It is vital for reaching many out-of-the-way locations.
• Faydown Cloak: This is Silksong's version of a double jump. It is acquired after you have successfully climbed to the summit of Mount Fay, a treacherous region that requires the use of your Clawline ability to traverse. The Faydown Cloak is a core traversal skill that opens up a significant portion of the game's map.

The Path to Memorium

Once you have secured both the Clawline and the Faydown Cloak, youare ready to make your way to Memorium. Your journey begins at the topof the Citadel in a region known as the Choral Chambers. Look for a high platform in the top-right section of this area. This platform is only accessible with the enhanced mobility provided by the FaydownCloak. Use your double jump to ascend and reach the entrance toMemorium.

Upon entering Memorium, proceed to the right to find aBench. It is highly recommended that you rest here to save yourprogress, as the area ahead is filled with high-tier enemies. Exit theBench room and continue your journey by moving up, then to the right,through a passage filled with a variety of difficult foes. Afterward,turn left to go through another passage, then head down and finally tothe right. You will eventually see a sign and enter a room with a mapmachine.

This machine offers the Memorium map for a cost of 70 Rosaries. Interacting with the machine and purchasing the map willgive you a clear and detailed view of the area, making furtherexploration and navigation much easier. With the map in hand, you arenow well-equipped to venture deeper into Memorium and uncover itssecrets.
