How To Get More SDU Tokens in Borderlands 4

In the world of Borderlands 4, one of the most essential currencies for character progression isn't a form of cash or experience points, but rather a special item known as an SDU token. SDU stands for Storage Deck Upgrade, and as the name implies, these tokens allow you to expand your inventory, bank, and ammunition capacity for different weapon types. By collecting these tokens, you can significantly enhance your ability to carry more loot and be better prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.SDU tokens cannot be purchased or found randomly in chests; they are earned by completing specific objectives and activities throughout the game. The vast and immersive world is filled with numerous opportunities to earn these valuable upgrades.

How to Get SDU Tokens in Borderlands 4

Here are the various methods you can use to collect SDU tokens, each with its own unique requirements and rewards.

• Safehouses and Silos: Scattered across the map, Safehouses and Silos serve as both fast travel points and sources of SDU tokens. There are 14 Safehouses and 9 Silos in total. By exploring and activatingeach of them, you can earn a substantial amount of SDU tokens. Unlocking each Safehouse and Silo rewards you with 40 SDU tokens, for a total of 920.
• Evocarium Puzzles: These are unique puzzles found throughout the Kairos region. When you find an Evocarium, you will be given a quest to locate and collect three glowing orbs hidden in the area. Once you have gathered all three, you will be rewarded with 15 SDU tokens.
• Vault Symbols: While exploring the world, keep an eye out for glowing Vault symbols etched onto walls. Interacting with these symbols will net you a quick 5 SDU tokens each.
• Lost Capsules: This is one of the more straightforward ways to earn SDU tokens. You will find Lost Capsules scattered throughout the world. By finding one and delivering it to a Safehouse, you are rewarded with 15SDU tokens. With 20 capsules to find, this method can yield a total of300 SDU tokens.
• Auger Shrines: These purple shrines can be found at various points of interest in the game. There are a total of 10 Auger Shrines, and each one offers 10 SDU tokens when you interact with it, giving you a potential total of 100 SDU tokens.
• Propaganda Speakers: Identified by a speaker icon on your map, these are mini-missions thatinvolve hacking into a network and disabling a series of propagandaspeakers. There are 27 of these speakers, and each one you disable rewards you with 20 SDU tokens, for a total of 540.
• Electi Safes: These are special safes hidden in the Carcadia Burn and Dominion regions. There are 10 of these safes, and each one contains 10 SDU tokens, adding up to a total of 100.
• Order Bunkers: These bunkers are essentially small dungeons filled with enemies and a boss fight at the end. After clearing an Order Bunker, you will receive 40 SDU tokens. There are 6 of these bunkers in the game, yielding a potential total of 240 tokens.
• Auger Mines: Located in various regions, Auger Mines are abandoned caves filled with a variety of enemies and a boss at the end. There are 7 Auger Mines, and clearing each one rewards you with 40 SDU tokens, for a total of 280.
• Ripper Drill Sites: These are locations where you will encounter a number of Ripper enemies and a mini-boss. After defeating all the enemies at each site, you will receive 40 SDU tokens. There are 6 such sites in the game, offering a total of 240 tokens.
• Ancient Crawlers: You will stumble upon these massive, abandoned vehicles as you explorethe Kairos region. By fighting your way to the top of each of the 10crawlers, you will receive a reward of 40 SDU tokens, for a total of400.
