In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, progressing through the story and unlocking new areas often requires completing specific quests. The "Power Up the Gate" quest, given by Chococat, is essential for accessing the Spooky Swamp and the rest of the island. A key part of this quest involves finding three elusive Yellow Power Crystals. This guide will detail how to craft the necessary sensor and pinpoint the locations of all three Yellow Power Crystals.

Crafting the Power Crystal Sensor: Your Crystal-Detecting Tool

To locate the Yellow Power Crystals (and any other type of Power Crystal), you'll first need to craft a Power Crystal Sensor. You'll receive the recipe for this item as you progress through the "Power Up the Gate" quest for Chococat.Crafting Requirements:

• 3x Sticks
• 3x Magnets

Gathering the Materials:

• Sticks: Sticks can be found scattered on the ground throughout the island. Keep an eye out for them as you explore.
• Magnets: Magnets are obtained by increasing your Friendship Level with Badtz-maru, Tuxedosam, and Pochacco to Level 2.

Using the Sensor:Once you've crafted the Power Crystal Sensor, equip it using the item selection wheel (or the shoulder buttons on your controller). The sensor's icon will pulse faster as you get closer to a Power Crystal location, acting like a helpful compass.

With your Power Crystal Sensor in hand, it's time to track down those Yellow Power Crystals!

Yellow Power Crystal Location #1: Beginner's Bridge Puzzle

Find the Ruins: TheBeginner's Bridge puzzle is located a short walk to the left of Chococat and the Crafting Table. Look for a set of ruins near the coast.

Chococat's Help:Chococat should be following you during the "Power Up the Gate" quest.Jump onto one of the pressure plates near the ruins, and Chococat should jump onto the other, opening the way inside.

Solve the Puzzle:Inside the ruins, you'll find a simple puzzle. Pick up the nearby blockand place it onto the pressure plate to lower the bridge.

Claim Your Crystal: Cross the lowered bridge and climb the wall to the left to find the first Yellow Power Crystal.

Yellow Power Crystal Location #2: Crystal Conundrum Puzzle

Chococat's Position: If Chococat isn't following you up the hill, walk a short distance to theright to reset his position so he follows you. This puzzle requires his presence.

Lower Level First: Go down to the lower level of the puzzle area first.

Move the Box: Take thebox on the lower level up to the middle level where you entered. Placeit onto one of the pressure plates by the sealed door.

Second Box: Pick up the other box on the middle level. This will remove the stairs leading down.

Unlock the Door: Place this second box onto the remaining pressure plate by the sealed door to unlock it.

Crystal Inside: Enter the now-unlocked area to find the second Yellow Power Crystal.

Yellow Power Crystal Location #3: "Building Bridges" Quest

Broken Bridge: Thefinal Yellow Power Crystal is located across a broken bridge just northof My Melody's shop in the center of the main island.

Start the Quest: Interact with the sign near the broken bridge to begin the "Building Bridges" quest.

My Melody's Request:You'll be directed to My Melody, who is in her shop just south of thebridge. She needs 2x Strawberry Crates to fix the bridge. These cratescan be found scattered all over the island.

Gift the Crates: Give My Melody the 2x Strawberry Crates.

Lead Her to the Bridge: After giving her the crates, lead My Melody to the broken bridge. She'll fix it for you.

Crystal Across the Bridge: Cross the newly repaired bridge to find the third and final Yellow Power Crystal.

With all three Yellow PowerCrystals in your possession, you'll be able to power up the gate andventure into the Spooky Swamp, unlocking new adventures and discoveriesin Hello Kitty Island Adventure!
