Lately it is giving a new opportunity and life to classic games, so that they can be enjoyed by the players of the modern consoles, this time it is BioWare who adds to this, because it is worth noting that long before it was so well known by the video games Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Anthem, this Canadian company managed to stand out with the isometric RPGs Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights.

So, now these classic games and others from the now defunct division, Black Isle Studios, have earned an opportunity to be revived and soon enjoyed by a lot of gamers who will undoubtedly be able to experience great adventures in a completely new way.

Skybound Games and Beamdog closed a distribution agreement a few days ago to launch improved versions of Baldur's Gate. Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights and Planescape: Torment and the expansion for Baldur's Gate, Siege of Dragonspear.

Although it's been almost 20 years since the release of Baldur's Gate 2, the idea of a sequel may sound dated. However, that does not mean there is no hope that at least one new Baldur's Gate game is in the works, as Larian Studios, the critically acclaimed game-winning team: Divinity: Original Sin, is working on Baldur's Gate 3, although it has not yet been confirmed or denied by them.

For Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One finally this year all these games will be available, specifically at the end of 2019.
