• Activate Remnawave Towers: Upon arriving in Gongaga, activate the Remnawave Towers already marked on your map.

• Scan Lifesprings: Find and scan four of the Lifesprings in the region. These are easily located after activating the towers.

• Chadley's Intel: Afterscanning four Lifesprings, Chadley will inform you of the GreatMalboro's location, which will also be marked on your map in thesouthwestern corner of Gongaga.

While you can fight the Great Malboro in Chapter 9, its associated quest isn't available until Chapter 12.

• Aerith: Concentrate on using Ice spells for both damage and to pressure the enemy.
