To produce Duraluminum Ingots in Dune: Awakening, you need to combine water, Aluminum Ingots, and Jasmium Crystals in a Medium Refinery.
Each Duraluminum Ingot requires:
- 500 ml. water
- 4x Jasmium Crystal
- 1x Aluminum Ingot
This means you'll need to extensively farm large quantities of Jasmium, Water, and Aluminum to get enough materials for Tier 5 equipment. For example, a Mk. 5 Scout Ornithopter alone demands a massive 350 Duraluminum Ingots, so prepare for a substantial farming effort to get the best aerial vehicle for Deep Desert exploration. Where to Get Aluminum
While Aluminum can be found in a few locations, the most efficient farming spot is situated in the middle of Jabal Eifrit Al-Garb. This area is commonly referred to by players as 'The Pillars' due to its numerous rock formations that rise from the sand, which are densely packed with valuable ores.
- If you already possess a Mk. 4 Ornithopter, equip a Storage Module on it to maximize your carrying capacity.
- Bring a Tier 4 Cutteray to efficiently mine the ores.
- Consider investing in Planetologist Perks, as these can significantly increase your mining yield, speeding up the process considerably.
Where to Get Jasmium Crystals
Jasmium Crystals are much more challenging to obtain, as you must venture into the dangerous region of Sheol, which is the southwesternmost part of Hagga Basin. Sheol is an exceptionally hazardous place, characterized by:
- Numerous PvP zones (player-versus-player combat areas).
- Two massive sandworms actively patrolling the sands.
- Scarcity of safe rocky islands for landing.
- Extremely high radiation levels, adding insult to injury.
To survive the oppressive radiation in Sheol, players must bring a Radiation Suit. A Mk. 4 Radiation Suit typically offers protection for about 2.5 minutes. Given this limited
time, you need to be very quick: grab as much Jasmium as you can,
quickly return to your Ornithopter, and fly away to allow your radiation levels to decrease before attempting another run.
