Here's a detailed guide on how to start the quest and locate each crest:

How to Start "A Collection of Crests"

  • Unlock Yasuke: You must first progress through the main story until you gain access to Yasuke as a playable character.
  • Visit Kyoto, Yamashiro as Yasuke: Once you can play as Yasuke, travel to the Kyoto, Yamashiro region.
  • Locate Ota Gyuichi: Look for a quest marker in the southern section of Kyoto, specifically just below the southeast corner of Honnoji Temple.
  • Speak to Ota Gyuichi: At the quest marker, you will find Ota Gyuichi, the former scribe to Oda Nobunaga and an acquaintance of Yasuke's.
  • Initiate the Quest: Speak to Ota Gyuichi. This conversation will begin the "A Collection of Crests" side quest, setting you on your hunt for the nine Kamon Crests.
  • Track Your Progress: To check how many Kamon Crests you have collected, hover your cursor over the quest marker that remains at Ota Gyuichi's location on your map. This will display your current collection progress.

    Niwa Clan Kamon | Located in Tsuruga Castle, which sits in the heart of Sotomo Gate, Wakasa in the northeast corner of the map. The building that contains the Kamon is right next to the building that contains the castle's Legendary Chest.


    A Collection of Crests Final Rewards:

    After you have successfully collected all nine Kamon Crests, return to Ota Gyuichi in Kyoto to receive the following rewards:

    • All Nine Kamon Clan Banners: Outdoor cosmetic items based on each of the clans represented during the quest.
    • Falcon's Eye Legendary Bow: A powerful legendary bow.
    • Bow Multishot Legendary Engraving: An engraving that adds a multishot effect to bows.
    • 1000 XP: A significant amount of experience points.
