Prerequisites: Gaining Access to the Quest

Before you can begin your hunt for the components, you must first unlock the questline. This requires progressing through the main story until you gain access to a specific location: an Isu cave marked with mysterious glyphs.To enter this cave, you must:

• Have Yasuke as your active character.
• Possess the Riddle Scroll Beacon amulet.

Once inside the cave for the first time, you will not only find your first component but also receive clues pointing toward the locations of the remaining three parts.

Blade of Yumminess Parts: Location Guide

There are four key pieces you must track down across the regions of feudal Japan. Here is where to find each one.

1. Scabbard of Yumminess

• Region: Isu Cave
• Location Details: The journey begins where it ends. The Scabbard is located inside the initial Isu cave itself. After entering with Yasuke and the Riddle Scroll Beacon, search the chamber thoroughly. It is often found in a corner or a side alcove, waiting to be discovered. This is the first piece you will acquire, setting you on the path to rebuild the full katana.

2. Blade of Yumminess

• Region: Tamba Province
• Location Details: Fast travel to the Mount Akaiwa Viewpoint. From the high branch of the viewpoint, carefully look down and scan the area below. You will spot an aged, rusted chest nestled among the rocks or on a lower ledge. Descend safely, open the chest, and claim thepowerful Blade component.

3. Guard of Yumminess

• Region: Kii Province
• Location Details: Your destination is the Myoken Shrine. Instead of going inside, navigate around the back of the shrinestructure. You will find a path leading down the cliffside. Follow thistreacherous path to discover a hidden chest tucked away in a secludedspot, containing the essential Guard.

4. Handle of Yumminess

• Region: Wakasa Province
• Location Details: Make your way to the Onyu Pass Overlook Viewpoint. From this high vantage point, you must take a leap of faith—literally.Dive directly into the serene pond below. Swim to the bottom, where asunken chest holds the final piece: the Handle of Yumminess.

Reforging the Legendary Katana

After your successful journey across the provinces, you will have collectedall four parts: the Scabbard, Blade, Guard, and Handle. The final stepis to return to the beginning.

Ensure the Riddle Scroll Beacon is equipped.

Travel back to the entrance of the Isu cave.

Re-enter the cavern and immediately look to your right. You will find a blacksmith's workbench.

Interact with the workbench and select the option to reforge the blade.
