How to complete The Reunion quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji

"The Reunion" is the second main quest in the Claws of Awaji expansion for Assassin's Creed Shadows. This mission is a direct follow-up to "A Shinobi on Awaji," and your primary objective is to rescue a captured shinobi from the heavily fortified Sumoto Castle. The quest is designed to test your stealth and traversal skills, as a direct assault on the castle would be incredibly difficult.

Quest Walkthrough: The Reunion

After gathering information on the captured shinobi's location, the quest will lead you to Sumoto Castle. Your goal is to enter the castle undetected and make your way to the shinobi.Step 1: Enter Sumoto Castle from the NorthDonate: buy me a coffee

To begin, you must first reach the northern section of the castle's exterior. Look for a location where you can use your grappling hook to get to the top of the outer wall. This provides a clear path and allows you to bypass many of the ground-level guards.

Step 2: Use the Rooftops for Stealth

Once you're on the wall's rooftop, you can proceed stealthily toward themain castle building. The rooftop path is the safest way to avoiddetection. Continue moving to the right, using the rooftops to navigatepast the guards below. Your destination is a large castle buildinglocated in the northwest corner.

Step 3: Infiltrate the Castle Building

When you reach the northwest castle building, use your grappling hook to get to the top of it. From here, you can perform aerial assassinations on the guards below to clear the path. Once the immediate area is secure, use the staircase to descend into the building.

Step 4: Descend and Find the Shinobi

You'll need to go down a few floors to reach the shinobi. As you descend, becareful to watch for any remaining guards. You can use stealth kills tosilently take them out as you make your way down. Once you've gone downthree floors, you will find the room where the shinobi is being heldcaptive. The door will be marked. Open it to trigger a cutscene thatwill mark the completion of "The Reunion."
