This Rainbow Shield bug in Darktide is because of an issue with the AMD Radeon Adrenalin software that will require anti-lag to be turned off in the case of players of the game.

Start the AMD Radeon Adrenalin Application
Go to the Gaming tab > In Graphics -Turn off Radeon™ Anti-Lag
HYPR-RX profile users: This setting is on by default.
When using Anti-Lag globally, remember to turn it off for Darktide, and the same effect will be accomplished.
