In
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, some factions can turn their units invisible, creating a significant tactical advantage. However, every faction has ways to counter this stealth ability by using specific detector units and abilities. Knowing how to detect these hidden units is crucial for gaining an edge in battle.
WH40k Dawn of War: Spot Invisible Enemies
The most effective way to counter stealth units is by using a
detector unit. When an invisible unit enters the range of a detector unit, it becomes visible to all of your troops, allowing you to target and attack it. In addition to detector units, turrets and captured strategic points can also reveal nearby infiltrated units.A good general strategy is to have at least one detector unit accompanying your main army before you engage in a major battle. Since these detector units are often fragile, it is essential to keep them protected behind your front line. You can also use area-of-effect abilities like grenades and artillery to hit an area where you suspect invisible units are hiding. While this doesn't reveal them, it can still cause damage and force them to move or retreat.
