Today we bring you an explanatory guide on how to get all endings in Until Dawn remake with precise details.
Whether you wish to spare everyone or allow them to perish under the mystical danger that hangs over Blackwood Mountain is entirely up to you; there are hundreds of possible endings to choose from, and the distinctions between them are minor.
The endings of the Until Dawn remake are very similar to the original, with very little differences. Actually, the only real change is that there is a chance to save Josh. In addition, depending on your choices while commanding Josh and Sam, a new post-credit conclusion will follow the cutscene that shows whether Josh turned into a Wendigo or atoned for his previous sins.
how to get all endings in Until Dawn remake
Aside from the characters and the language, the endings are almost identical. Assuming a single survivor makes it until morning, the outcome is always the same. The finale takes place in the same inferno as the cabin burns to the ground and a helicopter passes past to rescue any survivors, regardless of how many there may be. As the credits roll, we see the survivor(s) giving the police their account of what happened.
Until Dawn has hundreds of endings, and the differences between them are negligible. What each survivor says in their interview is determined by your relationship with them at the conclusion of the game, whether it's a core pairing or a couple. Rather, you can choose between two major endings: the good and the bad. Assuming Josh does not perish at Hannah's hands in Chapter 10-Repentance, his ultimate demise will be revealed in the cutscene that follows the credits.
Obviously, rescuing everyone and achieving the finest possible conclusion in Until Dawn is the way to go. However, if the endings are consistent, it could be more entertaining to intentionally fail every QTE in order to witness the game's conclusion with no survivors. Instead of being mild-mannered like Josh, why not go all out? The only way to get even with a prank that killed Hannah and Beth is to let everyone perish.
How to murder everyone in Until Dawn by making every bad decision
Both Mike and Sam can make it to the end of the story's climactic showdown with the adolescents, Hannah, and the surviving Wendigos since they are the story's MVPs. Chapter 4-Malevolence is where you can begin eliminating party members, though. What follows is an outline of all the things you must do wrong in order to have your characters killed in Until Dawn:
Character-Specific Endings
Jess:
- Safest Ending: Successfully complete all Quick Time Events (QTEs) as Mike at the beginning of Chapter 4.
- Worst Ending: Delaying assistance to Jess will lead to her death.
Chris:
- Ashley's Survival: Shoot Ashley in Chapter 6.
- Chris's Survival: Either fail to shoot the Wendigo in Chapter 8 or survive only to be locked out of the cabin by Ashley due to your previous choice.
Ashley:
- Ashley's Survival: Investigate the voice in the tunnels and open the trapdoor in Chapter 9.
Matt:
- Emily's Survival: Always side with Emily and attempt to save her twice in the fire tower.
Emily:
- Emily's Death: Either delay starting the elevator or fail the QTEs against the Wendigo in Chapter 8. Alternatively, survive the encounter only to be killed by Mike for being infected.
Josh:
- Josh's Survival: Successfully find Hannah's Journal as Sam.
Mike:
- Mike's Death: Don't choose to save Mike when controlling Sam in the final encounter. Failing the "Don't Move" timers will result in Sam's death, forcing Mike to sacrifice himself.
Sam:
- Sam's Death: Fail the "Don't Move" sequences inside the cabin during the final encounterr.
Ways to ensure that no one dies in Until Dawn's happy conclusion
A character's fate is decided by your choice in many distinct instances. Some members are much easier to foresee and rescue than others (poor Matt), while the fate of other members hinges on your quickness and poise during Don't Move situations. In a nutshell, here is how we can rescue everyone:
Jess:
- Always chooses to hide together with Matt.
- Succeeds in avoiding detection and hiding together.
Chris:
- Prioritizes saving Ashley.
- Chooses to shoot himself rather than succumb to the Wendigo.
- Reassures Chris as Ashley.
Ashley:
- Decides to rejoin the group without investigating a mysterious voice.
Matt:
- Disagrees with Em about the fire tower.
- Attempts to save Em but fails.
- Hides together with Jess and avoids detection.
Em:
- Takes the flare gun from the outside of the fire tower.
- Chooses the left path when pursued by a Wendigo.
- Successfully uses the elevator and shoots the Wendigo with the flare gun.
Josh:
- Expresses remorse and regret when talking to Dr. Hill.
- Finds Hannah's journal.
Mike:
- Chooses to save Mike as Sam.
Sam:
- Always chooses to hide.
- Prioritizes saving Mike.
- Avoids detection and succeeds in all "Don't Move" timers.
Finally, now that we know how to get all endings in Until Dawn remake, all we have to do is do it to get the most out of this incredible game.
