How to Use It
When the players find a music box, they use it by clicking on its item; in most cases, players achieve this by using an action button or mouse click. In most modern games, when you are hovering your cursor over something or picking it up, there is a so-called ability to "Use," "Equip," or "Play." Onscreen, the prompt says so, and upon clicking the music box, the music will immediately start playing.
For the most part, while the box is playing, the players will hear and sometimes see associated effects. The music it plays will differ depending on either the overall game soundtrack or on the particular song linked to the box. In some games, playing the music box may also initiate special animations.
Rewards
Once retrieved, the players will return the music box to Reigen, who listens to the music while scenes pop in to explain his background and character development. After the players have done all the objectives, they revisit Vassilis Voria, and he pays them credits with 100 experience points as reward.
