This guide will clarify these essential actions for efficient resource management and kingdom survival.

Move Buildings in The King is Watching

Repositioning buildings is crucial in The King is Watching for maximizing production, especially when leveraging the King's "gaze" mechanic. Frequent repositioning is often necessary to align buildings for optimal resource generation and efficiency, becoming even more critical as your limited castle tiles become occupied.

• How to Move: To move an already placed building tile within your castle, hold down the Shift key and then Left-click on the building. Your mouse cursor will change to a "grab" icon, indicating that you can now drag and drop the building to a new valid location.
• Why Move: The primary reason to move buildings is to strategically pair them together or place them within your King's active gaze to maximize resource production or troop training. Moving buildings frequently ensures you adapt to changing needs and avoid inefficient runs. Note that moving a building will temporarily slow its production, but this penalty is generally brief and worth the long-term optimization. If you move a building to a tile already occupied by another, the two buildings will swap positions, and both will incur the temporary production penalty.

• How to Demolish:

• Locate the house icon with a stop sign (or an "X") in your user interface.
• Click on this icon. Your cursor will change to reflect the demolish action.
• Then, Left-click on the desired building tile within your castle to demolish it.
• It's important to note that after entering demolish mode, you may need to right-click or click the demolish icon again to exit the mode before being able to interact with other buildings normally.
