How to Perform an Inward Heelflip in Skate 4
The Inward Heelflip is a variation of the classic Heelflip. Itinvolves a specific combination of directional movements on the rightanalog stick.
- Set Your Stance: The input for the trick depends on your skater's stance. The following instructions are for a regular stance skater (left foot forward). If your skater is in a goofy stance (right foot forward), you will need to mirror the analog stick movements to the opposite side.
- Pull Down-Diagonally: To begin the trick, pull the right analog stick down and diagonally towards your skater's toes.
- Flick Up-Diagonally: Immediately after the first motion, flick the right analog stick up and diagonally towards your skater's toes. This second motion is the key to executing the flip.
When performed correctly, your board will pop up, flip, and spin at the same time.
An alternative way to perform this trick is to use a Nollie stance, which can still count for challenges.
- To perform a Nollie Inward Heelflip, start with an upward flick on the right analog stick, then perform thestandard Inward Heelflip motion. The inputs are inverted but will result in the same trick.
It can be difficult to get thetiming and stick movements down at first, so it's a good idea to find aflat, open area to practice. Once you've nailed it, the Inward Heelflipcan be a great way to rack up points and complete specific challengeslike the Trick of the Day. Mastering it in a safe spot will prepare youto pull it off over more dangerous gaps and obstacles later in the game.
