What to know about getting a crystal staff in Remnant 2?
This latest DLC, The Crystal Staff, can only be obtained by starting a new campaign in The Forgotten Kingdom. This will allow us to explore the new areas added in the expansion, including the coveted Infested Abyss, it is necessary to keep in mind that Remnant 2 generates dungeons, items and enemies procedurally, which makes the location of items unpredictable. If, for some reason, Infested Abyss does not appear in our current campaign, we may have to replay or join a friend's game until we find this dungeon.
How to get crystal staff in Remnant 2?
Our quest begins once we enter the Infested Abyss dungeon, we will descend to the level just before The Root Emissary Boss. To reach the lower levels, we must first defeat three Root Nexus scattered throughout the map. Each Root Nexus battle summons a wave of enemies, whose strength increases as we approach the boss. We must be careful, since the Nexus is surrounded by a dense red fog that little by little drains our health due to the contamination of the roots. A strategic approach is necessary here, so we considered attacking from higher ground to eliminate the minions before taking on the Root Nexus.
Once we have overcome the obstacles in our path and are close to the Root Emissary, we look for a stone coffin leaning against one of the walls of the root. Inside, we will find a skeleton holding the crystal staff. The Crystal Staff has its own mod, but it also leaves its mutation slot open so we can customize it. In this sense, it is ideal to use this version of Invoker that uses this melee weapon.
