How To Change Keybinds in Rematch

Rematch is designed with preset key bindings that aim to provide a balanced and intuitive control scheme. While these defaults are intended for optimal gameplay, the game does offer options to adjust your control settings.

Rematch: How To Change Keybinds

Rematch provides four different control presets, allowing players to choose the one that best suits their playstyle and mouse capabilities. Although the game presents a "Custom" tab, it's important to note that the beta version of Rematch currently does not allow for individual key remapping. Instead, players can select from the available presets.To access these settings:

Launch Rematch and navigate to your home screen.

Click on the System button.

Now, click on the Option button. You will see four different tabs.

Click the Control tab. This will take you to the keybind settings where you can select one of the following presets:

1. Default Keyboard Preset

This is the initial keybind setting you start the game with. It's designed for standard mouse and keyboard setups without additional buttons. Lobs are typically performed by tapping C, F, and X, while tackles are done with E.

2. Double Thumb Buttons Preset

This preset is ideal for players using a mouse equipped with two extra thumb buttons. These buttons are assigned additional actions for quickerexecution of moves.

3. Complex Thumb Buttons Preset

This preset is tailored for players who own an "MMO mouse" with a greaternumber of buttons, typically six or more. Key actions are mapped tothese additional mouse buttons.

4. Custom

While a "Custom" option exists in the interface, it is currently not fully functional for individual key remapping in the beta. This means you cannot freely assign specific actions to any key youdesire within the game's settings at this time. Players who wish fortruly custom keybinds may need to explore third-party software likeAutoHotkey, as some community members have done. However, for mostplayers, selecting one of the three pre-defined keyboard presets is theonly in-game way to "change" keybinds.

The developers are likely to implement full custom key remapping in afuture update, given community feedback and the presence of the "Custom" tab.
