How to Switch Demons in Raidou Remastered

Raidou Remastered: Mystery of the Soulless Army incorporates the signature Atlus formula into its real-time combat system. While targeting enemy weaknesses remains a core strategy, Raidou is accompanied by two AI-controlled demon party members. Though Raidou serves as the main character, his demons are incredibly versatile and should never be underestimated.Your demons can be highly effective, whether providing support to Raidou or acting as primary damage dealers, especially with the correct build. Despite only having two demons active in battle at a time, you have access to many more in your inventory. Here's how to seamlessly switch your active demons, both in and out of combat.

Raidou Remastered: How to Switch Demons

You have the flexibility to switch your demons at any time, whether you're in combat or exploring, without any cost or penalty. Apart from a brief summoning animation, bringing in a new demon only takes a few seconds and doesn't consume any resources. This means you should always feel free to swap to the best option based on the situation you're facing.To switch your demons during combat:

Select the bottom option of the menu located in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Opening this menu will pause combat, giving you as much time as you need to make your decision.

Pressing this button will reveal a list of all the demons you currently hold. Their combat skills will be displayed on the left side of the screen.

Scroll through the list and select the demon you wish to summon.

A subsequent menu will then display your currently summoned demons, allowing you to choose which one to replace. If a demon recently fell in battle, the open slot will appear as "Unset."

The newly selected demon will be summoned directly in front of Raidou and will immediately jump into the fray without any further input required from you.

Resummoning Dead Demons: While you can revive a dead demon through other means, they will still need to be resummoned using this same method to bring them back into active battle.Setting Starting Demons: You can also decide which two demons will start with you in battle. To do this, go to the main menu and select the "Configuration" option. The two demons displayed directly under Raidou on the right side of the screen are the ones that will be active when a battle begins.

Is There XP Share in Raidou Remastered?

Yes, there is XP share in Raidou Remastered. Even unsummoned demons stored in vials will gain Experience Points (XP) and Loyalty whenever you complete a battle. This means you don't needto constantly cycle through your demons simply to ensure they gainexperience. You only need to switch them out when you actually want that specific demon to participate in the fight and use their skills.

There is no bonus for a demon fighting actively alongside Raidou other thanthe opportunity for them to use their skills more frequently. As youadvance through the game and unlock new titles, demons that are in vials but not actively summoned can even utilize some of their skills without being in direct combat. Therefore, it remains important to maintain aroster of powerful and loyal demons in your vials, even if you prefernot to use them directly in every battle.
