Alongside exploration of locations like Supernova Academy and the introduction of items like the Bass Boost, the latest update brings even more superpowers to the island, including the ability to transform into a fearsome Storm Beast. Here’s how to acquire and utilize the Storm Beast's Pom Poms in Fortnite.

Fortnite: How to Get Storm Beast's Pom Poms

The Storm Beast's Pom Poms are an Epic rarity Hero Item. While finding them as floor loot is possible, it's incredibly rare. Players will have a significantly higher chance of obtaining them through specific loot sources:

• Academy Stands: These stands are found in all Points of Interest (POIs), with a guaranteed presence within Academy Tech Labs. These are prime locations for acquiring Hero Items.
• Chests and Rare Chests: While these are common loot sources across all POIs, they offer a relatively lower chance of dropping Hero Items compared to dedicated Hero-focused caches.
• Hero Loot Caches: Found in all major POIs and Academy Tech Labs. To receive Hero Items like the Storm Beast's Pom Poms from these caches, you generally need to open Hero Caches of B Rank or higher. Your Hero Rank increases as you progress through the season's Hero-themed activities.

Purchasing from an NPC: The most reliable way to obtain the Storm Beast's Pom Poms is by purchasing them from Haylee Skye for 400 Gold. Haylee Skye can be found around Pumped Power, specifically reported as being on the north side or inside a warehouse within the POI. However, keep in mind that Haylee Skye only has one pair of Storm Beast's Pom Poms in stock per match, so other players can buy it before you.

How To Use Storm Beast's Pom Poms In Fortnite

Storm Beast's Pom Poms are a unique item that allows players to transform into a Storm Beast by pressing the shoot button while holding them. Upon transformation, players gain a new, temporary health bar that depletes as they take damage. You will remain in Storm Beast modeuntil this new health bar runs out or you manually exit thetransformation by holding the interact key.

While in Beast Mode, players cannot use their equipped weapons. Instead, they gain access to three distinct abilities:

• Attack (Shoot Button): Unleash a flurry of powerful melee strikes. Each consecutive swipe inthe combo deals increasing amounts of damage, making sustained attacksvery effective.
• Storm Slam (Aim Button): Leap into the air and smash into the ground with a devastating meleeattack. This move can be charged by holding the aim button, with up tothree charge levels that significantly increase its damage and precision upon impact.
• Leap (Jump Button): Perform an enhanced, super jump. This ability can be chained with Storm Slam to gain extra altitude, cover greater distances, and enhanceoverall mobility for both offense and escape.

Once the Storm Beast's health bar is exhausted (which also acts as theitem's durability), the Pom Poms will be discarded, requiring you tofind or purchase another set to transform again.

It's worth noting that due to their powerful nature, the Storm Beast's Pom Poms have been removed from ranked play but remain available in unranked modes for casual enjoyment and chaos.
