How to Fuse Demons in Raidou Remastered

Demon fusion is a cornerstone mechanic in the Megami Tensei series, and Raidou Remastered (likely referring to Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army Remastered) integrates this tradition, albeit with its unique real-time combat system. While you'll acquire your first demons early on, and even collect more in the Dark Realm, the ability to fuse them isn't immediately available.

How to Unlock Demon Fusion in Raidou Remastered

Demon fusion isn't unlocked from the very beginning of the game; you'll need to progress through the main story. Fusion takes place in the Goumaden, which can be accessed either within the Dark Realm or at a specific shop located just outside the Narumi Detective Agency. If you try to access it too early, you'll receive a message indicating that Victor (the Goumaden's proprietor) isn't present.The Goumaden becomes available after you complete the first major section of the main story, specifically the events in the basement of the Daidouji Residence. After your initial trip there, you'll be given a task to find a maid in town. Once you interact with her and obtain the requested drink, Victor will return to the Goumaden, and you will then be able to fuse demons at your leisure.

How to Fuse Demons in Raidou Remastered

Raidou Remastered offers three distinct methods for demon fusion:

• Normal: This is the standard method where you manually select two demons from your stock to fuse together.
• Search Fusion: This method allows you to apply filters to find potential fusion recipes based on desired outcomes.
• Reverse Fusion: With this option, you can choose a specific demon you want to createfrom a list, and the game will show you the possible ingredient demonsyou have in your stock to achieve that fusion.

Regardless of the method you choose, the core process remains the same: the twoselected "parent" demons are consumed (destroyed) to create a new, often more powerful, demon.

Skill Inheritance is a crucial aspect of fusion. You'll have the opportunity to choosemultiple active skills to transfer to the newly created demon, alongwith any passive skills the parent demons possessed. Skill Inheritanceis vital for creating stronger demons, as it allows you to significantly expand and customize the skillset of your new allies by combiningdifferent demon abilities.

A unique feature in Raidou Remastered is the ability to hold multiple copies of the same demon in your stock. This makes it convenient to acquire several instances of a demon with a desirable skill and then transfer that skill to othernew demons through fusion.

Important Tip: It is highly recommended to max out a demon's Loyalty before using them for fusion. When a demon reaches maximum Loyalty, itunlocks special perks, including the ability to pass on unique passiveskills during fusion and may even leave behind items. Fusing loyaldemons ensures you get the most value and potential out of them beforethey are used in a new creation.

How to Summon Demons in Raidou Remastered

Demons in Raidou Remastered are automatically summoned at the beginning of a battle, provided theyare placed in your active party slots. You can change which demons arein your active party at any time by accessing the "Configuration" option in the main menu. The two slots directly below Raidou's representation on the screenindicate the two demons that will start alongside you in combat.

While having the right demons in your starting lineup is beneficial, the game also allows for very quick demon switching during battle, and thisprocess costs no in-game resources, offering tactical flexibility.
