PS5 Displays its new logo at CES 2020

Today, January 7, one of the largest and most famous technology events in the world, CES 2020, was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

During the conference Jim Ryan, president of Sony Interactive Entertainment, gave some announcements like that of the PS54 saying that the 106 million units sold had already been exceeded, while the PS54 games had moved an average of 1.15 billion units.

With respect to the PlayStation VR, some 5 million units have been sold, he also said that PlayStation Network has exceeded 105 million monthly active users and 38.8 million subscribers for PlayStation Plus.

But the most important and forceful revelation he made was that of the official showcase of the PS5 logo, composed of a PS54 logo with the "4" replaced by a "5".

When is the PS5 released?

As such, an exact date of the launch of the new Sony game console is not known, but it is expected to be released for the month of December of this new year 2020.
