Guide to learn how to add friends to Raids in Pokémon Go

In case you are preparing some kind of assault in the well-known Pokémon Go game, the best thing you can do is invite your friends and the game makes this option possible for you.

You may be wondering how to add friends to the Raids, because the truth is this is not very difficult, so we will teach you how to achieve it and for that one of the requirements is that your friends will need a raid pass to participate, but now you will not have to wait for other coaches to see that you are about to raid to help you and thus receive more support.

How to add friends to Raids in Pokémon Go?

When the raid lobby is ready, you will see a new icon "" for public and private lobbies. Click on the plus icon and you will be able to choose five friends from the friends list to invite them to help you.

Those coaches should see the notice and have the option to help you if they have a raid pass available to help you.

Groups can only have a maximum of 5 people, so you must choose your raid companions very well, you can face more challenging enemies, such as the legendary Pokémon that appear in five-star raids.

This feature should make it easier for coaches to locate five-star gyms and invite friends to help out. Everyone who participates should have a chance to try and capture the Legendary Pokemon after battle.

There are players who receive an invitation to join the raid, and in case you are one, there is a chance that it requires a remote raid pass to participate, but the official Niantic platform did not specify which raid pass it will need to use.

Although we will teach you how to add friends to Raids in Pokémon Go, the reason this is being implemented is possibly to make it easier for quarantined players to play together with COVID-19, so it is somehow a good incentive to stay at home.
