Leave none of them standing!" while remaining stationary with the other guards. This bug halts quest progression, preventing players from advancing through Kvatch and continuing their adventure. Fortunately, there's a straightforward workaround to get things back on track. Here's how to fix it:

Fix Oblivion Remastered Savlian Matius Charge the Courtyard

The Problem:

After assisting the Kvatch guards in clearing the initial courtyard of Daedra, the quest marker directs you to Savlian Matius. However, upon attempting to speak with him, he becomes stuck in a loop, continuously exclaiming "Charge the Courtyard! Leave none of them standing!" He remains idle with the other guards, and the quest fails to progress regardless of your actions.

The Workaround:

To bypass this bug and resume the Battle for Castle Kvatch quest, you need to proceed into Castle Kvatch on your own, essentially taking the initiative that Savlian Matius is failing to provide. Here's the step-by-step solution:

Ignore Savlian Matius for the time being. Despite the quest marker pointing to him, he will not initiate further dialogue or advance the quest in his bugged state.

Head towards the entrance of Castle Kvatch. This is the large structure beyond the courtyard you just cleared.

Enter Castle Kvatch and begin exploring. Your objective inside is to eliminate any remaining scamps or other minor Daedric enemies that you encounter.

Continue progressing through the castle. Follow the natural flow of the level, fighting any enemies you find.Your ultimate goal within this section of the castle is to locate the Count of Kvatch.

Find the Count of Kvatch. He is usually located further inside the castle, often in a state of distress or confronting more significant Daedric threats.

Defeat any Daedra surrounding the Count. Ensure his immediate safety.

Locate and take the Count's Signet Ring. This is a key item that will prove your progress within the castle. It is typically found on the Count's person or nearby.

Once you have the Count's Signet Ring, head back out of Castle Kvatch and return to Savlian Matius in the courtyard.

Speak to Savlian Matius again. This time, with the Count's Signet Ring in your possession, the dialogue should trigger correctly.

Give the Count's Signet Ring to Savlian Matius.

Upon presenting Savlian Matius with the Count's Signet Ring, the questshould recognize your progress within the castle, and the Battle forCastle Kvatch quest will continue normally from that point forward,allowing you to proceed with the next stages of the questline andcontinue your journey through Kvatch and beyond.
