Within the unsettling realm of the Shivering Isles expansion, players will encounter the peculiar character Sickly Bernice, who is convinced she is suffering from a mysterious, life-threatening illness. This guide will walk you through the steps to cure Sickly Bernice's perceived affliction in Oblivion Remastered.

Oblivion Remastered: Cure Sickly Bernice’s Illness

Begin A Liquid Solution in Oblivion Remastered

The quest, aptly named "A Liquid Solution," begins when you meet Sickly Bernice.

• Location: You can find Sickly Bernice at Sickly Bernice's Taphouse, which is located on the southern side of the Crucible, directly adjacent to Muutine's house.
• Initiate Conversation: Once you enter the taphouse, walk to the right, down a small set of stairs. You'll find Sickly Bernice behind a table. Engaging her in conversation will eventually prompt three dialogue choices.
• Choose "Cure": Select the "Cure" option to formally begin the quest to find a remedy for her sickness. Bernice will express her gratitude and explain the sole location of the cure, marking it on your map for convenience.

Quest To Find Aquanostrum

Bernice will direct you to a unique substance called Aquanostrum.

• Destination: Knotty Bramble: Your marked destination will be Knotty Bramble.
• Locate Entrance: Upon reaching Knotty Bramble, look for a small, cave-like entrancelocated precisely on the map icon for Knotty Bramble, nestled under thebark of a huge tree.
• Enter Knotty Bramble: Go inside and be prepared for a quick skirmish with an enemy. At the end of this initial section, you will see a "Root Door to Knotty Bramble." Enter through it.
• Navigate the Dungeon: Continue proceeding straight and downward through the dungeon until you reach a large room containing a pool of water. Defeat any enemies youencounter along the way.
• Locate Aquanostrum: In the midst of this pool, you will observe a statue holding a glowing, blue, crystal-like material.
• Collect the Cure: The moment you jump into the pool beside the statue, your objective will update, indicating that you have successfully obtained a sample of Aquanostrum. The Aquanostrum itself appears as bubbles rising around an old statue in the pool.

Return to Sickly Bernice and Claim Your Reward

Once you have the Aquanostrum:

• Return to Bernice: Head back to Sickly Bernice at her taphouse in Crucible.
• Deliver the Cure: Give the collected Aquanostrum to Sickly Bernice.
• Receive Reward: Bernice will be effusive with compliments and will bestow upon you a special reward: the Circlet of Verdure ring.

This highly beneficial ring grants the following perks:

• Resist Disease: 60%
• Resist Poison: 60%
• Fortify Health: +35 points
• Fortify Endurance: +12 points
