Ninja Gaiden Ragebound: How To Unlock Each Ending

There are a total of three endings in the game, and you will need to complete the game on both the regular and hard difficulty modes to see them all. Each ending is determined by a choice you make and the difficulty setting you are playing on.

How to Unlock Ending A

This is one of the two standard endings you can achieve on the regular difficulty setting.

Requirement: Play through the game on regular difficulty.

The Choice: After defeating the boss in level 4-6, you will be presented with a critical choice: "Who will escape Hell and seal the door?"

Action: Select Kumori.

Reward: Finishing the game with this choice will unlock Ending A and the Venom achievement or trophy.

How to Unlock Ending B

This is the other standard ending, also available on regular difficulty.

Requirement: Play through the game on regular difficulty.

The Choice: After defeating the boss in level 4-6, you will be presented with the same question: "Who will escape Hell and seal the door?"

Action: Select Kenji.

Reward: Finishing the game with this choice will unlock Ending B and the Inner Peace achievement or trophy.

How to Unlock the Secret Ending

The secret ending is the most challenging to achieve and requires you to beat the game on its highest difficulty.

Unlock Hard Mode: First, you must complete the game on regular difficulty to unlock the Hard mode difficulty setting.

Beat the Game on Hard Mode: Play through the entire game again on Hard mode.

Access Level 5-1: Upon defeating the boss in level 4-6 on Hard mode, the game will not end. Instead, you will unlock a new level: 5-1: Endless Struggle.

The Boss Gauntlet: Level 5-1 is a brutal boss rush where you will fight the hard versionsof several main bosses from the game without the ability to heal. It's a true test of your skills.

Character Choice: Youcan choose to play as either Kenji or Kumori for this gauntlet. It ishighly recommended to select Kumori, as her damage output isconsiderably higher and will make the fight more manageable.

Reward: Once you have beaten the boss gauntlet, you will unlock the Secret Ending and the Endless Struggle achievement or trophy.

As a bonus, beating this difficult level also unlocks two new costumes: the Mugen Tenshin Ninja Costume for Kenji and the Runaway Ninja for Kumori. It's worth noting that while the ending visuals may differslightly depending on which character you play as, the achievement isthe same and only needs to be earned once.

Does Assist Mode Disable Achievements?

No, enabling assist mode or using any of the accessibility features in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound will not prevent you from earning achievements. If you are struggling tocomplete the boss gauntlet on Hard mode, you can technically turn offincoming damage and still unlock the Secret Ending and its associatedachievement.
