How to get spicy globs in Grounded 2

In the early access version of Grounded 2, players are already faced with the challenge of gathering powerful resources to craft advanced weapons. Among the most sought-after materials are Spicy Globs, a crucial component for creating weapons that can inflict "spicy" damage—a type of critical hit particularly effective against spiders and ants. Spicy Globs are required to craft high-tier weapons like the Spicy Coaltana and the Spicy Staff.Finding these Spicy Globs is a significant late-game task that requires you to meet specific prerequisites, including completing the current story and possessing the right tools. Prerequisites to Get Spicy Globs

Before you can even begin your hunt for the Spicy Globs, you must meet the following requirements:

Obtain the Sizzling Key: The Sizzling Key is a reward for defeating the final boss of the "Networking" mission. This signifies the end of the current early access story content. The key is essential for opening the chest containing the globs.

Acquire the Omni-Shovel II: The Spicy Globs are found in a buried treasure chest, which requires a Tier 2 shovel to dig up. You'll need the Omni-Shovel II to access the chest.

How to Find the Spicy Globs Chest

Once you have the Sizzling Key and the Omni-Shovel II, you can beginyour search. The buried treasure is located in a specific, hidden areaof the map.

Head to Pine Hill: Your journey begins in the southwest corner of the Pine Hill area. This is also directly west of the corner of the Picnic Table.

Navigate with a Buggy: It is highly recommended to use an ant Buggy to navigate this area, as its ability to "chomp through obstacles" will be useful.

Climb the Tree Roots: Use your Buggy to climb up the tree roots. You'll need to chomp through a barricade to reach a higher level of the hill, at the base of somelarge trees.

Follow the Root: Continue followingthe tree root north until you reach its end. Here, you should see acluster of spider eggs and three red mushrooms near some rocks.

Locate the Dig Site: Climb up these rocks. You'll see some pop-caps and a small cove formed at the base of the tree where two roots converge.

Dig for the Treasure: Head down into the crevice between the roots. You will spot a glowingpatch on the ground among some pine needles. This is the exact locationof the buried treasure.

Open the Chest: Use yourOmni-Shovel II to dig up the chest. After digging it up, use theSizzling Key to open it. Inside, you will find the Spicy Globs, whichare crucial for crafting some of the most powerful weapons in the game.

If your goal is to craft the Spicy Coaltana, you will need a few other materials in addition to the two Spicy Globs found in this chest: EverChar Coal Chunk and Wolf Spider Chunk. With all these materials, you can create one of the most effective weapons for survival in the backyard.
