Marvel Rivals is celebrating the summer season with a new event, Summer Special Vol. 2. This is the second summer-themed event of the year, following the first Summer Party event from Season 3. The event brings new beach-themed outfits for several heroes, including Mantis, The Thing, and Human Torch. For players eager to get the exclusive Mantis skin, here is a breakdown of how to unlock it.

How to Unlock the Mantis Oceanic Harmony Skin

The Mantis Oceanic Harmony skin is the main premium reward in the Summer Special Vol. 2 event. To get it, you must purchase the Premium Event Pass and progress through the event's tiers by playing matches and earning XP.The event works like a battle pass, with rewards unlocking at different tiers. Mantis's skin is a premium reward and is unlocked at Tier 21, which is the final tier of the event pass. This means you will need to put in a significant amount of playtime to earn enough XP to reach the final tier. The good news is that the event has no daily XP limit, so you can play as much as you want to progress at your own pace.Here's the step-by-step process:

• Purchase the Premium Event Pass: The pass is a one-time purchase that gives you access to all the premium rewards, including the Mantis skin. The premium pass is expected to cost around 990 Lattice, which is equivalent to about $9.99.
• Play Matches and Earn XP: Once you have the premium pass, you will earn XP by playing matches in any game mode. The XP you earn will automatically contribute to your event pass progress.
• Reach Tier 21: Continue playing to earn XP and climb through the tiers of the event pass. The Mantis Oceanic Harmony skin will unlock when you reach Tier 21.

Other Skins in the Summer Special Vol. 2 Event

The event pass is not just for premium players. It also offers a free track with rewards that everyone can earn by playing. Here is a look at the other skins available in the event:

• The Thing - Rocky Tide: This skin is a free reward, meaning you do not need to purchase the premium pass to get it. It unlocks at Tier 14 of the event pass.
• Human Torch - Sunny Sizzler: This is a premium skin, unlocked immediately at Tier 1 upon purchasing the premium pass.

In addition to the event pass rewards, there are also new summer-themedskins available for purchase in the in-game store, including Punisher - Aqua Arsenal and Invisible Woman - Azure Shade. These are separate from the event pass and must be purchased directly from the store.
