Players on PC are currently encountering a frustrating login problem with Marvel Rivals through Steam. This issue can often be mistaken for a network or server-side error, leading players down a frustrating path of troubleshooting. The Temporary Fix

According to an official statement from the developers, they are actively investigating the root cause of the login problem with Steam. While a permanent solution is being worked on, they have suggested a temporary workaround for affected players:

• Repeatedly click "Continue" on the login screen.

This is not a guaranteed fix, and you may need to click the button numerous times to have a chance of your connection request going through. The bug may still persist even after several attempts, but this method has allowed some players to bypass the issue and access the game.

New Patch and Bug Fixes

A new patch was scheduled to go live on August 14, 2025, at 9 am UTC. While this update is aimed at addressing a number of other issues, itis separate from the ongoing login problem, which is still beinginvestigated as a priority.

The patch includes fixes for a wide variety of in-game bugs, such as:

• Hulk's Abilities: An issue where Hulk's ability bar buttons would swap positions afterrespawning and transforming has been resolved. A bug that allowed hisIncredible Leap to knock down targets protected by certain shields hasalso been fixed.
• Hela's Visuals: Visual glitches withHela's Hel Tendrils Team-Up Ability have been fixed, along with a visual bug that caused her Queen in Black Ultimate Ability to have the wrongcape color.
• Camera and Interface: The patch addresses acamera bug that could cause incorrect angles upon respawning. A keybindissue where undoing changes for one hero would incorrectly affectanother has been resolved.
• General Gameplay: Fixes forterrain issues that could cause characters to get stuck or clip intostrange areas have been implemented. Additionally, a fix for Xbox Series S resolves a bug where Dynamic Sprays appeared blurry.
